  1. QUOTE(rangercal @ Jul 20, 2006 -> 03:05 PM) someone save this quote. There were a whole bunch of these last year. But they were first to post when we won the division...odd, isn't it?
  2. To Buehrle>Wood: You can take your reactionary, classless attitude elsewhere for all I care. You seem better suited for the ESPN or MLB boards. They'll enjoy that schtik there.
  3. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 20, 2006 -> 10:17 AM) Mackowiak with Ozuna giving him a break every so often. So you want Mack or Ozuna to start and the White Sox make no moves or put Fields in LF? Because if Fields, as so many want, is in LF next year...I ask again...who hits leadoff?
  4. Who would hit leadoff for us? So many of you are complaining that this team resembles the 2002-2003-2004 team of sluggers and no small ball. But yet so many want Pods gone and Fields/other LF to replace him. So I ask again...who hits leadoff then?
  5. Looks like Javy had thrown out his curve ball and going with his slider with two strikes now.
  6. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 07:29 PM) Gotta love the back door.
  7. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 07:22 PM) I should s*** on more of our players. I am like the reverse mojo. I just crapped on Uribe and he goes deep. Say we should dump the whole team!!!
  8. So.. We're done with Pods and Uribe. Anyone else?
  9. Vasquez should keep throwing that running fastball in on the RH...Nasty
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 06:49 PM) The small ball portion of our game is so bad it's comical now. Explain. Ozzie started a hit and run with Mack on first. Uribe flied out. Should Pods or Alex have bunted? Should Mack have stole second against Pudge?
  11. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 06:44 PM) Hawk said hed fill a lineup of all righties. where is BA???? Watching Rob get a hit.
  12. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 06:33 PM) javy's throwing a lot of balls He has to...he's the pitcher. Duh.
  13. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 03:33 PM) There's some around Chicago. I believe Joliet Mall has a Ruby Tuesdays. Hardee's are around too here and there, but they're more prevelant when you get to Kankakee and farther south. I had whataburger once in Texas, but that was like 8 years ago. There's a Ruby Tuesdays in Melrose Park near Kiddieland
  14. QUOTE(vandy125 @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 02:34 PM) Reminds me of the Circuit City commercials I see all of the time. There are none in all of Iowa (although one is supposedly going to be built within a year or so). Do they even have electricity in Iowa?!?
  15. QUOTE(SoxFan76 @ Jul 17, 2006 -> 12:44 PM) I'm not asking for 100% White Sox coverage. That would be hypocritical. But some fair articles like the Daily Southtown puts out would be nice. You know, ones that take some effort and talk about the team in a positive light. I think the Sox articles in both papers are incredibly fair. Which specific ones do you mean? Almost all the articles about the Cubs are negative, is this what you want?
  16. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 10:52 AM) The last time i saw 6:00am on a clock i think i was drunk :sleep :sleep :sleep and fighting off liquored-up farmers
  17. QUOTE(Hangar18 @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 08:59 AM) at the same time though, hes taking as much time as he wants. And the SunTimes isnt really sweating him about it either. Hes staying away, and the Times is glad hes away ....... for now. Like I said, his paper is FURIOUS about the charge he made against them, and that can hurt the papers credibility (ive called out some of their writers already) Immensely. The Trib is watching this situation veryclosely Are these just your opinions or do you actually have sources that are telling you these facts?
  18. Happy Birthday to a Great poster & Sox fan!
  19. After the game, the Rally Crede skipped the buffet in the clubhouse and ate a car at the GM building across the street. The Rally Crede says "Eat American!"
  20. QUOTE(Hangar18 @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 12:13 PM) But us SWEEPING the Tigers is significantly much HARDER now that they have a 4.5 lead on us and .... MOMENTUM (oops, I said momentum). What I meant by that, is that the Tiggers are going to play LOOSE, Carefree and Easy knowing they have that lead. The SOX? They are going in having lost 3 in a row, lost 2 series in a row, have looked miserable for a couple weeks now, and have to VISIT detroit. all things not in our favor right now. Thats why I said that That does not answer my question. I never aksed you if sweeping them was either easy nor hard. You stated if we do sweep them it will have no effect. I'm wondering why you think that. You speak of momentum, but ignore what a White Sox sweep could do to the Tigers.
  21. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 02:04 PM) I believe, but I don't believe Rally Crede is going to fix the pitching staff. We'll make the playoffs, but October won't last very long unless we figure out how to quit giving up 7 runs. The Rally Crede will repair the pitching by becoming a one-man rotation!! The Rally Crede also points you to a different thread if you can't figure out the meaning of this one!!
