A defining moment in music history!! I want that t-shirt!!!

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 07:25 AM) Total personal pref. I can't stand the talking so I'd rather hear all music. I go from one extreme to the other as far as listening to music. Sometimes I buy a CD and love it so much it's all I listen to for weeks. Drives Jim nuts. LOL. We should start a "Grinder Rules-esque" list of "What Drives Jim Nuts" #99 Don't just play your CD...OVERplay it!

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 08:56 AM) That film has a LOT more female fans than male fans. Not sure why that is, but that is amazing to me. Because Christian Bale is dreamy

All I can say is this... If the other fans were truly "fans" they would have tried harder. But no one tries harder or works harder than White Sox fans!!

QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 10:39 AM) This will not mess JD's swing up.... he wants to get his paper from the Yanks next year, he will continue to have a torrid second half. :headshake

QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 04:01 PM) My wife said the same thing! I knew your Wife and I had a connection!

So...when does she take her clothes off?!? On a side note, it's cool that NBC let Hasselhoff keep his wardrobe from Knight Rider!

I got the three interns in my office voting for AJ and nothing else!! I say "Blah" to their education!!

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 01:35 PM) Which of you is right? Go with the one that's before the All Star Game

QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 01:12 PM) Not to sound like a pessimist, but the O's are not the Royals, so he will probably get rocked. But I hope he doesn't. So, you are saying since the Os have a better hitting team, Vazquez will get rocked? Hmmm...explain that to Cleveland. He is 2-0 with a 1.53 era against them. But I'm glad you're not a pessimist.

QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 11:46 AM) I voted for him once. He's good. He could help the AL win the all-star game and have home field advantage for the world series. Not that AJ couldnt but. All i was saying is that I want AJ to win and i probably voted for him 50 times or so. BUT if he loses i want Lriano cause he's good. Until the game happens you don't know who you need more. An extra hitter or pitcher. So I side on the fact that AJ is a White Sox and I want him in there. I hope he doesn't lose by one vote... :rolly

QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 12:47 PM) are we a bunch of obsessed crazy ppl who nothing better to do than vote online all day to get someone on the allstar team or just, plain simply great fans? A little bit from Column A and a little from Column B

QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 11:55 AM) Someone might get a kick out of this...I'm really bored at work today. Here is a an e-mail I sent to the Score...basically to see what kind of response I would get. My subject was 'My Favorite Score Programming'. It must be your non-stop commercials. I have been without my Sirius radio the last two days, and I have been stuck listening to terrestrial/horrible radio. My favorite is when you guys come back from a commercial, talk about an upcoming segment, do a live commercial, and then go back to recorded commercials. Nice work. I can't wait until Sirius finds a way a do some local sports talk, and I will never listen to your s***ty channels again. Tony I was thinkling the same thing today. I forgot my Sirius at home and I was driving to work and had to listen the Score. Commercial...commercial...commercial... I would love local programming from thr major markets. An all Chicago sports channel and even a New York/Boston sports channel...oh wait that's ESPN. Thank god for my Sirius and next week when Howard comes back from vacation.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 10:27 AM) Anyone notice that the banner above section 102 has fallen down? I liked them versus the flags at first, but now seems like not such a good idea. I noticed that too! I like the idea, but they need to secure them more. -
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 09:59 AM) Hopefully Santana cramps up ala Zambrano and can't pitch against us I don't think what Santana is doing will hurt his wrist as much as what Zambrano's "addiction" hurt his. :rolly

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 09:50 AM) I wasn't sure if it was, or wasn't. Now leave me alone NEVER!!

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 09:45 AM) Responding to SS2k5's comment.. "I wonder if the sit lets his mind wonder, and his intensity lapse. " Something that happens to those with ADD. VRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.... Thats the joke flying over your head, Steff.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 07:50 AM) Jim has a 2 handicap and can not hit a 90mph fastball. It's apples and oranges. He's golfing with apples and hitting 90mph oranges?? Weird guy...

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 08:52 AM) He struck out the first batter he faced yesterday and then went to go relax for ten minutes before facing his next batter. That's it right there. He should have a long talk with Mariano Rivera during the all-star game on how to keep yourself ready and motivated for a 2 inning save. I think we forget Bobby made his ML debut just one year ago.

I love these old Hollywood murder mysteries. There is something so classy and seedy about them all at the same time. Ben is portraying actor Geroge Reeves, who played Superman on TV in the 1950s for quite a long time. His death is still unsolved. Did he commit suicide or was he murdered? Orginally this pic was called "Truth, Justice and the American Way", that was a bit long. I'm not sure i like the title "Hollywoodland" any better. Funny side note, I guess DC comics won't let them use the Superman symbol. Ben in Tights!

QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 08:05 AM) Hey, I was there too. Remember watching the Tigers kick our ass? Ahhh, memories. Big Cecil spanking Blackjack... Ah yes...I remember it well...

QUOTE(Felix @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 08:20 AM) From pitches 1-15, Bobby has 31.1 IP with a 0.86 ERA and 1.05 WHIP From pitches 16-30, Bobby has 6.1 IP with a 8.53 ERA and 1.42 WHIP So yea, it would seem that way. Although these are pitches, not innings pitched, which makes it a bit different, but still shows the same point. However, doesn't it make sense that if he's throwing more pitches, his ERA will be higher because he will have let more runners on, which is why his pitch count is higher in the first place? Or am I talking gibberish? I think it has to do more with intensity. He gets himself all geeked up to go out and close. So after he finishes the 8th, there an adrenaline let down while he sits in the dugout waiting to go back in the 9th. He's young, that pacing will come soon enough.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jul 5, 2006 -> 07:11 PM) Looks like a fair amount of "replacement parts" on Mamie.
