I'd rather have Koch close it out.

It sure looks like the players and the fans are having fun out there....reminds me of 2000. And whenever I hear any of the players on TV, they are always talking about their teamates. I think this team is becoming something special really quickly.

wrigley field is a minor league park and I hated it when i was a kid and I hate it now - last time I was there in 2000 I was surprized that my memories of hating it were not years of anticubs bais, I really hate the small, cramped, pole infested bad sight line place. The first time I read that, I thought you had something aginst the Polish.

I saw most of that....the "b****-slap" part was pretty good.

I figured you would say "Maury wouldn't fit on those cards" "continued on next card..." I don't have much room to talk, so I normally avoid weight-related humor. Now Maury's softball "skillz"....that's open season..... his whiffle ball skills are open for flames too........ ...gotta admit though that continued on the next card thing was funny and even maury would laugh at it... hell you would need a whole card just for his beer can alone.......... those cards are cool........and maybe we should do a soxnet poster set.... put the faces to the names........i think it would be fun....... Well, if people want to....

It just doesn't seem like a white guy song. Maybe that's just my feeling...but when I was little, when I used to hear it (My parents listen to a lot of oldies), I would have never thought the guy that sang it looked like that.

Ya, i saw that. I was laughing and how heated it was getting. It was basically like they were on the dan patrick radio show on espn1000. That kind of convo never goes on on SC, but i liked it for a change. I caught it just before I left....I thought there was going to be some vulgarities thrown out....

Well, he gets the s*** beat out of him numerous times in the movie. ...by the horse??? COOL. Well, there's ONE highlight, I guess! Once by a horse... a horse dislocates his left leg....he ends up all mangled.

And to think that "Fly Like an Eagle" was sung by a big white guy. Strange.

Start making intelligent, well-thought out posts and you will gain you a lot of respect that people have lost for you. Even if I don't agree with people, if they can back what they are saying up, I will give them respect. Unless they are a Cubs fan. You can't respect them for that.

What would those things be? Homophobia? Which this darn board is so strict about... name 1 person banned for that. name 1. name 1. name 1 person banned from soxtalk. Read what soxheads wrote and ignore everyone else who has no clue what they are talking about. and your pity party has gone on long enough. I'm not going to ban anyone unless someone goes way overboard, and at that point I'd probably just put them on moderation, and email them. But threads like that would probably be closed if people are getting sick of it.
