  1. My dad is 3 years older than my mom.

    I dated a 9 year old when I was 13. just kidding.

You deserve to have your tiny testicles squashed by an industrial hammer, you sick f***!

    Oooooooh...industrial.

  2. Im not sure why. I guess the seasons doomed anyway so I might as well cheer for MB to fail so his arbitration goes to hell...

Since when is the season doomed? We are 7.5 back with 90+ games left...10 of which are against Minnesota. Hell, we sweep Minnesota in the next series and it's a brand new season. Not saying it's going to happen, but it could.

  3. Without MB wed be 29-27. But we cant just make him disappear completely. So lets say him, or another pitcher in his spot, went 5-5 (and for Mark thats still pretty lame), wed be atleast 34-32. Wed be in second, not far from the Twins. But no! Hes 2-10! With that were 31-37 and we dont have a chance...

What's the team's record in games that MB has started?

  4. I wont ever like MB. I cant stand MB. I cant wait until he leaves and loses 20 for someone else. I did like him once. Last year, I cheered for him to win 20 thru his great outting against the Twins and I, like MB, cried when he lost on a homerun to the little dick Kielty. But thats gone. Now, all MB is is a whiner and a candidate to lose 20. And this year, Im gonna cheer for him to lose 20...

As said by many people here before, why the f*** you would you cheer for the Sox to lose?

  5. Nope, why go to more than one place for that info. I get it from BA first thing every morning. And out of USA Today online scores for same day scores or the teams website.

Actually, that's where I go to find them too. I was just wondering if anybody notcied the boxscores at FutureSox?

  6. Oh, I think Anna Nicole Smith is married to someone whos like 70. Thats got be like a 40 year difference.

Just think about dating someone 40 years younger (maybe Smith didnt do it but Im sure someone has). Im 16 so Id have to wait like two and a half decades until my spouse is even born! Then another 18 til shes legal. I aint ever doing that. Im findin someone my own age!

I think he's dead already. There was a court battle over money he left her in his will if I remember correctly.

  7. I got told by my advisor [a priest, no less] that I should be a rodeo clown despite getting a 27 on my ACT and getting into the school I wanted to go to.  Then again, the entire advising department was screwed up there.  One guy thought I was depressed because I never got into National Honors Society [i never filled out the papers to apply because I didn't want to be in it] and then they thought my friend was cutting herself [she wasn't] and they kept doing things like that to make themselves feel needed.

ACTs are meaningless for the most part.  Hell, a kid I went to school with scored 2 points higher than what the monkey did when he took the test and got into Duke [does help that the kid is over 7 ft. tall]

And ISU [ill. State Univ.] Sucks!  :bringit :P

Well Apu, I think you could have been a damn good rodeo clown.

  8. Then you haven't lived, my friend.

Anyways, back to the original topic of the thread, I used to have a beat up old laptop my dad "borrowed" from work that had to have been 4-5 years old, but my family pitched in and got me a Presario 2800 for graduation last year.  It's sweet.

Really, what is the point of two buttons? Whenever I was stuck with a Windows computer, I used it sparingly. Besides, just holding down the control button when you click on a Mac does pretty much the same thing.

  9. I got a 23 on my ACT, which I took four years ago, and didn't care to retake it.  I graudated high school with a 3.667 GPA, and am loving my time at the real ISU.

Soxheads, there's always a time to come out of the dark and see the real ISU.

Going to South Carolina, we drove right by Normal. Central Illinois and Indiana are f***ing boring. Iowa State is the real ISU.

The entire Midwest (Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, eastern Colorado, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Kentucky, southern Georgia, and the Florida panhandle) are all relatively boring with the exception of a few places (Chicago, New Orleans, St. Louis, Milwaukee to name a few).

From what I've seen 99.999999% of this country is one big yawn. :usa

I think we stopped in Peoria for a bite at a McDonalds...that wasn't too bad....Indiana was the worst...one freaking city on the interstate. There was Indianapolis and that was it.

  10. Maybe if you stopped having sex 8 times a day you could look outside the box (literally and  Figuratively ) and realize that this TEAM is playing as a TEAM.

6-5 is mediocre.... However I believe I said starting from the last game in the AZ series I've noticed a change.....and They're 6-3 since that last game.

Since then they went into LA and came very close to sweeping a very good Dodger team.... then they came home and came within an inning of taking a series from possibly the best team in the NL.

Now they're beating a team they need to beat... All I am trying to say is....were in the middle of June... and things dont look great, but for the sake of being fans of this goofy f***ing team... lets not quit on them until they're realistically eliminated.

I gotta say the Braves are definitley the best NL team...but I see what you're saying...how well we played against 2 teams that will most likely be in the playoffs.

  12. He is now tied for sixth in the AL with 16 home runs (the same number as another guy down in texas pulling down $22 mil a year), and is getting his average up closer and closer to .300. (.284) His RBI's are lagging, but part of that may have to do with the all-around suckage of most of the rest of the order.

    Category - AL Rank

    HR- 6th (16)

    RBI-36th (35)

    2B-28th (15)

    TB-16th (124)

    BB-3rd (45)

    Slg.-5th (.577)

    OBP-6th(.420)

    OPS-3rd (.997)

While these numbers aren't like those of the mid-nineties, he seems to be somewhat climbing back up into slugger status.

Oh, and he's fielding 1.000. I was surprised to find out his lifetime fielding average is .991
