San Antonio
in SLaM
hang around the river walk area.. theres lots to eat and see down there.......if you can i would try to get on base there at lackland and see what your airforce trainees go through... they do allow civilian visitors there, so you may want to check that out its pretty interesting.......other than that there isnt much else to san antonio...........I could tell you some of my friends (and one of mine) goals down there are. At my school, it's not uncool to be in band, and plus get to go on trips like this every four years, last time it was the Orange Bowl, and now the Alamo Bowl. We have been invited to every major bowl except the Rose, Mardi Gras (can't believe we can't go), and Dublin for St. Patrick's Day.
hey i never said it was uncool to be in band, i have a kid in band... and they do all the trips and stuff too...what do you play??? my son plays sax...... i was just passing you places to go and see like you asked, and since i spent some time down there in the military i figured i would let ya know what was down there to do......the river walk is a cool place to hang out.. it has shops and restraunts......and if you can get on base i would suggest going it has cool things to look at there too...other than that there isnt much else.......
I know you didn't. I was just saying it in case anybody was going to bring it up. I play the trumpet. I've basically only heard about the river walk down there, and the alamo. Thanks for the info.

Our high school band learned that we will march at halftime of the Alamo Bowl next year, and I wondered if any of you had tips on San Antonio, you know, what to see, what to eat, what not to do, stuff like that.

Yes. Make this anniversary of your birth a special one.

Did you see Etienne take his mouthpiece out while he was "knocked out"? He hit the mat, took out his mouthpiece, then closed his eyes and laid back.
It was just like the old days - Tyson pummels a nobody in no time.
Glad I didn't pay a penny for it.
Am i the only one who thinks that looked totally fixed? And a tyson croud gets screwed every time he wins because it lasts a minute.
It does, and I enjoy it when they beat the s*** out of each other for multiple rounds.

If we are so kind who do so many Americans die of starvation and lack of money?
Why would anyone attack us for that? I see no logical thought behind that sentence.
-
we helped her because we were just so kind. If anyone tries to attack us for this, they can screw themselves...
So many things wrong with that part.

If it were Lieberman vs Bush, not even an issue, Lieberman.
If it my Kenny Williams vs Bush, not even an issue, Kenny Williams.
However I doubt either one will get the nomination.
I am leaning towards Edwards a lot. Also like Graham of Florida. I also like the Southern strategy obviously.
I have no problems with Kucinich what so ever.
I am very glad Mosely Braun is running. I loved her as a Senator but she earned her defeat, damn it and damn her. However her running means Al Sharpton will not have a part of the field to himself and that is good, very good indeed.
I've been leading towards Edwards, too.
-
Kucinich in 2004! Hell, Anybody but Bush in 2004!
Even Liebermann?
I have faith that the Democrats won't be so f***ing stupid as to pick Lieberman.
Good point.

I hope that picture is after he bunted the ball, too.
