Re: Eloy… it’s kind of hard to miss almost the entire year with an injury and come back without skipping a beat. He gets slack in my eyes for his struggles down the stretch.

Think of it this way: we won 93 games, won the division, gave Houston some concern in the ALDS, and have a TON of room for improvement. Lots of sun to see through the dense fog.

After throwing ~140 IP this season he should be ok for ~180 next year. His jump from 7 to 140 showed an insane amount of guts. He’ll be fun to follow for whoever signs him because as many have eluded to, he’s most likely gone.

We certainly just were reminded that a defense first offensively limited catcher is an option if you’ve got a productive lineup around him.
