  1. Ah good deal, thanks for the clarification. It’s an important detail which helps us understand it doesn’t matter how he’s deployed for the rest of the year.
  2. Isn’t it only available if he finishes 55 games this season? I believe he’s around like 35 right now. If true, wouldn’t this mean we’ll have to give him more 9th inning opportunities? About the option, this was written July 16th: His contract includes a $16-million vesting option for 2022 based on a games finished clause in 2021, but he’s unlikely to reach that threshold. Kimbrel has finished 29 games, and the option vests if he finishes 55 games in 2021. I don’t know how vesting options work in this case is it: - If he finishes 55 games the option is triggered - If he doesn’t finish 55 games, the Sox can still trigger the option ?
  3. The fact that the illustrious M&M Jacket Dude isn’t sitting in the scout seats this year speaks volumes. ? Always follow the M&M Jacket Dude’s lead.
  4. Ah didn’t know this… in that case totally wait. One of the best parts was having the gates open for you 3 hours before game time and having all of that time to eat a fully fresh cooked buffet which if I recall, even had a meat carving station featuring prime rib. If you have the correct appetite you can easily eat your $250 ticket into the green. ?
  5. They’re awesome. I purchased two at that price before and did not regret it one bit.
  6. Announcer on ESPN, “Eloy has been great and leading the team offensively since his return but they didn’t really need anyone - as they were a pretty good team at the plate before getting him back.” Uh… ok.

  8. That sounds fantastically awesome, actually. ?
  9. Boy do I wish more than most times that I lived in Chicago. Would be so fun going to games with some of you fine folks.
  10. Totally agreed… I also think regardless it’s likely to be a dogfight or we get steamrolled. If we iron out kinks and start firing on all cylinders we’re primed regardless of who we face. If we keep playing like we have been… repeat of last year.
  11. Taillion and Cortes had both been pitching well leading up to our game against them. We saw two evenly matched teams go at it and we should have won each of the games. Bottom line is clean up stuff on the field and in the dugout. Preform to capabilities and we’ll be primed for a long post season run. Continue playing like this and managing like this… we’ll see a repeat of last year. I’ve got confidence that we haven’t played our best baseball of the season yet.
  12. I don’t pick fruit, I invite everyone to the orchard.
  13. Not an excuse… just a part of the reality.
