Wow - really amazing the amount of talent that has opened up from Japan. He’ll be on the Dodgers too… they did an amazing job capturing the Japanese market. With honor and virtue being held so high culturally in Japan, you have to give it to LA for creating an alliance with their country and their stable of top talent.

In the past we’ve seen player driven rebuilds… which is what you’re describing here. What we are experiencing now is an organization driven rebuild… which will take longer and will require more “wins” outside of free agent signings and trades. Placing a rookie in the seat of that car while claiming we’d get to our destination sooner because of it… boy, that one’s rich Jerry. The state of White Sox affairs have unfortunately been moves that don’t fracture a fanbase — they have been moves which totally derail it… Until it works.
