I’m pretty sure the majority of human beings would struggle in similar ways if they had to endure being part of a club that ranged from the worst team in the league to the worst team in history. It isn’t a big deal in my book.

Here’s what I know… we have zero chance or need in free agency. No good player would want to play for this circus until there’s some progress and we obviously have a mandate to lower payroll until we show progress as well. So we’re pidgin holed into the trade market where we’ve got to focus on two areas: Reclamation projects and blue chip players who are likely in the lower levels. Otherwise, we’re likely limited to rolling the dice on some one year deals that could convert to deadline movers. Bottom line: It’s going to be a very fucking long winter.

Hopefully Getz is shopping him more so as an actual asset knowing we care fuckall about winning the next few years.
