Fatigue, or playing like s***, you decide.
Apparently doublem(oron) knows more than all the espn folks who follow this stuff like it's their job...oh wait it is...if you think you are proving some great point, you aren't, as we all know you aren't above espn, though you seem to think you are. Now that's hilarious
LOL! ESPN's "experts" are never wrong are they? They also have people who's jobs are to know college football. Do you, by any chance, recall who the majority of ESPN's experts were picking to slaughter Ohio St. in the championship game? How 'bout Peter Gammons? [sarcasmColor]We all know how dead on he always is.[/sarcasmColor]
Face it, the 1st round of the tourney is very often a crap shoot. Sometimes struggling teams carry their late season struggles into the tourney & get bounced right away. Other times they get new life - starting over from scratch in the tourney & make a decent run. I've seen both sides of this happen. I've also seen the "hot team" come into the "Big Dance" after tearing through their conference tourney on a big roll, only to burn out & choke in the 1st round. This is obviously not as common.
