Eli Manning is not a franchise QB. Roethlisberger holds on to the ball too long sometimes, but he plays behind an absolutely horrific line. If he was on, say, the Pats, he would dominate.

Frankly, I don't like that health insurance is a for-profit industry. I won't go so far as to say I want socialized insurance (YET, because I haven't become convinced it's the wrong idea yet either), and definitely not full-blown government-run healthcare, but this is somewhere I don't think the pure free market is the answer.

I've pretty much accepted that the government is going to spend more in the next couple of years, it would've been the same for a McCain/Republican administration, for as much as those kinds of differences are exaggerated during the election cycle. Right now isn't what I'm so concerned about, I'm concerned with how we got here and our long-term strategy from here on.
