Sigh. Garza got pancaked on the INT return, that was pretty funny. -

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 10:45 PM) Well, when referencing a quarterback, usually "touch" means taking a bit off a throw. When talking about deep balls, Orton needs to put more on it, not put touch on it. He underthrows a lot of guys deep. Putting touch on deep balls would be more like lobbing one in or something, which he doesn't need to do. The trajectory is fine, the distance is not. That's all semantics. What I'm saying his he can get the distance on deep balls, but that's about it. -

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 10:42 PM) That makes no sense. Huh? How could it not make sense? He has no touch on his deep ball, and it sucks. All true. -

Orton's deep ball is still horrible, no touch whatsoever. -

Olsen got so wide open, that catch looked like he was playing 3/4 speed or something. -

Orton follows up a stupid throw with a sweet one. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 09:59 PM) Orton is just awful now. I can't believe he's escaped so much blame from the media this season. I'm not a Rex fanboy by any standards, but there's really a double standard there. Orton was treated as the savior of this franchise for a few weeks at the beginning of the season. But if Rex was out there doing what Orton is doing right now the stadium would be up in flames, it's pretty silly. Orton's earned himself a full season's worth of starts to show what he can do, but he should not be cemented anywhere, and hasn't earned the privilege of excuse-making. Bottom line, Orton's not the answer, no matter how much some fans managed to convince themselves that he is. -

QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 09:53 PM) Our run defense has gone downhill ever since Dusty has been out, the plus thing is our pass rush has gotten a little better. But on a side note.... If Babich and Orton are in their current roles next season something is definitely wrong with our front office and head coach. I'm fairly certain Orton will be back. I'd settle for just drafting another QB though, it's one lesson I learned as a Bears fan (don't count on one guy long-term, always have a backup option in case that doesn't work) -

Yeah... see what happens to the run defense when Mike Brown isn't playing? -

QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 09:48 PM) Everytime its 3rd and long we always run the cover 2 and seemingly it always gets beat, like it kills the defense. I dont understand why Babich keeps doing the same thing, it absolutely murdered is this season especially the atlanta game. I almost prefer them to be 3rd and short. My friend (Packers fan) asked if we were running a soft zone. I said no, we just suck, and forgot how to defend that area. -

Nobody used to be able to throw to the middle of the field, now it's basically free completion territory. They can't stop 3rd and long anymore. Urlacher and Brown used to dominate that area, Urlacher is never placed anywhere near the ball anymore though. -

I really like how Corey Graham has come along. Nate Vasher has turned into a waste of a roster spot almost overnight. -

There was an obligatory segment before the game about how Packers fans miss Favre. It's really simple... Aaron Rodgers is not anywhere near the list of the reasons the Packers are having a s***ty year. In fact he's been better than Favre, statistically. Only the dumbest meatheads in the Packers fanbase should disagree. It's actually not even worth discussion. -
QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 08:24 PM) Is it your ugly swing? Haha. Out of major leaguers I think I used to swing the most like Alexei Ramirez.

My wife thinks I look like Jerry Owens for some reason.
-
She has a huge forehead, but I'd still hit it. Then again I say that quite often on the internet.

QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 07:11 PM) I'd rather have the outfield they listed there than one that would include Speedy Owens. As the lineup is currently constructed the lineup would almost certainly be Quentin-Owens-Dye despite the adamant protests of Soxtalk.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 07:08 PM) Where was that? The beginning of those arguments looks the same every time. It's pretty funny actually.

Seriously, another Brian Anderson sucks no he doesn't argument? Really? Are you guys this bored?

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 06:39 PM) I agree. Let's drop this line please. Getting abck to ESPN look at the fact they have Josh Fields in LF? Is this a 2007 line up or something? I think they're just throwing names out there, nobody knows. It's just laziness really.

Anyone else think Pam Oliver is pretty hot? Although you wouldn't be if youre not into black women.
