  1. The boo's are half as loud today, oh man, there is nobody at the stadium haha.
  2. We're gonna have a problem hitting this guy, one of those nights.
  3. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 13, 2010 -> 02:34 PM) Vizquel at leadoff? Ewwww Can't be any worse than Pierre at this time.
  4. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 13, 2010 -> 02:31 PM) Nice, Ozzie not f***ing up with the mojo. Good call (I think it was you Sqwert) on the Pierre day off. I like Becks at DH though Nix kills LHP. I think it was fathom, I like this lineup. Hopefully Omar can get on few times, hes not base stealing threat but sure is a smart base runner.
  5. Vizquel 2B Beckham DH Quentin RF Konerko 1B Jones LF Pierzynski C Rios CF Ramirez SS Teahen 3B Floyd P you know, I'm doing it because I did yesterday, don't want to mess with the mojo.
  6. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 11:14 PM) <!--quoteo(post=2122232:date=Apr 12, 2010 -> 11:00 PM:name=chw42)-->QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 12, 2010 -> 11:00 PM) <!--quotec-->I'm not worried about the getting lit up part, I'm worried about his lack of velocity tonight. Good pitchers can have bad location and movement sometimes, that's no reason for concern. But the fact that he was throwing in the high 80s and topped out at 92-93 at most worries me. Peavy's delivery is one that is incredibly hard to watch and mechanically terrible. However, I think the mechanics is what gives him such good movement on his pitches, because he has such intense whip with his arm that creates movement on the ball. If he wants to pitch past his prime, he's going to have to change something or he's not going to get past age 31 or 32. Whenever you see Jake losing velocity, it might be a big indicator on something being wrong with his arm. He threw with better velocity in his first start against KC last season. I could be completely wrong, but his next start will be very, very important. 7. The curse of the knightni wallpaper, nothing extraordinary, should be over by May.
  8. I think everyone wants Jones in the lineup whether it is DH, LF, or RF when Q is DH'ing. I think everyone wants Kotsay to pinch hit and play 1B when Paulie needs a day off.
  9. Nice piece of hitting, he is such a good bat off the bench, it really should stay this way.
