  1. Quentin in and hitting third, playing LF. So we have the best lineup out there possible tonight. Please go away rain!
  2. "Guillen also said that, no, Uribe does not have pictures of Guillen, so fans should stop e-mailing the manager about that. Guillen did say the Ozuna move was "the hardest thing I've ever had to do as a manager." They wanted Uribe in case someone goes down. Guillen's reason for the Ozuna move was that while Ozuna helps him more off the bench than Uribe, Uribe is a better every day starter. Bobby Jenks is headed to the 15-day disabled list, most likely after tonight's game, according to Ozzie Guillen. Konerko in the starting lineup and hitting sixth behind Jim Thome." http://twitter.com/cst_sox
  3. Cubs acted quick after Brewers got CC. It definitely makes them a stronger contender right now, which is great move on their part.
  4. Juan Uribe can't be worse defensively than what we've seen from Pablo last couple of times. Right move, IMO. Huge thanks to Pablo Ozuna, for what he has done for the team over the last couple of years.
  5. I've been voting for JD non-stop for the past two days, if he doesn't get in voting is clearly rigged.
  6. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 08:29 AM) Well those geniuses were spot on last year. Who could have forcasted the breakouts of Q and Danks? KENNY DID!
  7. Ha, I was holding myself not to jinx the game. Good job
  8. Hiroki Kuroda from the Dodgers got his perfect game broken up in top 8th on Teixeira's double.
  9. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 7, 2008 -> 07:13 PM) They're holding their own so far. Nice pitchers duel in the 8th at Fenway. I'm also watching the game, Manny broke a 0-0 tie in bottom 8th, bringing someone home on a single.
  10. AFTER FIRST DAY OF ADDITIONAL VOTING: Longoria and Hart leading - per mlb.com "Longoria is followed in a tightly packed American League group by outfielder Jermaine Dye of the White Sox, first baseman Jason Giambi of the Yankees, second baseman Brian Roberts of the Orioles and outfielder Jose Guillen of the Royals." http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20...8&fext=.jsp
  11. I could easily see Minnesota getting swept in Boston, this series.. or vice versa.
  12. Chase Utley, Dan Uggla, Lance Berkman, Josh Hamilton, and Grady Sizemore, all confirmed participants in Home Run Derby.
  13. I saw all the participants on ESPN bottom line, late last night, no Sox players participating. EDIT: I guess 5 out of 8 are in so far. Hamilton, Uggla, Utley, Berkman, Sizemore. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/allstar08/ne...tory?id=3476173
  14. How was the game? This was my 3rd game this season. Sox 3-0 with me in attendance. Sweet!
  15. Like somone said, great game to be at! Great crowd also. Just got back, Gavin 3 hitter, too bad we couldn't hold the shotout, lets split tomorrow!
  16. Mark Buehrle your Sox pitcher of the month June, unfortunately it's July.
  17. That wasn't a bad pitch, Cust is killing us again.
  18. I forgot the game started at 6 today.
  19. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 3, 2008 -> 04:45 PM) JD and Buehrle for me.
