QUOTE (Frank_Thomas35 @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:57 PM) If he does get traded here, think he wears 99? I would love that. Yeah. His dreads are down to his ass these days. He looks like a tool.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:55 PM) I don't know who noted it or where...but having ManRam in the lineup on the day that you honor perhaps the most vocally outspoken opponent of steroid abuse of the last 20 years in MLB still bothers me. My heart would rather him not arrive until Monday just for that reason. That's a great point, but wins means more than morality to this shallow Sox fan.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:50 PM) He needs to do a John Madden impression. That's the ticket to fame and hundreds of super bowl commercials. Catalano was overexposed and it killed him. Milano is fearless and demented which I love.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:46 PM) I'll put my prediction out there... the Sox ship a so-so prospect, no one in the team's Top 10 probably, and cover most but not all of Manny's remaining salary. I think this is a good call. I think Kenny is gonna offer to take on more of the $ to get Manny here this weekend.

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:47 PM) all the Greg the Bunny stuff is very good IMO, even the watered down Fox show, it's too bad it never really catches on, and it appears the new MTV show isn't either, very creative and funny stuff! Milano does multiple voices including Warren and Greg. That guy is gonna break out soon.

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:44 PM) what made that worse was he went on to opine about how the Rangers were interested and acted like they were favorites, basically completely ignoring the waiver process Warren the Ape is the Sh*t. LMAO at that bastard.
-
QUOTE (chw42 @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:39 PM) Kenny is the god of waivers! No Sh*t. He seriously is.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:40 PM) Call me shipps but I have a gut feeling a deal or some groundwork might be in place already. Agreed. They have a deal, I think.

BTW, can we officially call Heyman the worst twitter source for all things White Sox? His "the Sox no longer the favorite" like 30 mins before it's annouced the Sox WON the claim was embarrasing. Rosenthal is the man with the best sources.

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:36 PM) The ball is in Colletti's court. Now he needs to decide A.) if his team has a realistic shot at the playoffs and B.) If having Manny in the lineup improves their chances of making the playoffs. If Ned says yes to both then Manny's staying put. Unless KW has a very enticing trade offer on the table or has mastered the Jedi mind trick he doesn't have a whole lot of power in this situation. The Dodger's recent wins have been almost entirely without Manny. Coletti is gonna move him to the White Sox.
-
QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:31 PM) If Manny blocks the move now, I'll be really pissed. He won't block it. He wants to play here.

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:28 PM) look back a few posts, Stark is now saying White Sox won it My bad. My post was delayed before the news was announced.
-
QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 01:23 PM) Manny would block the move than under his no trade clause. He'd stay with the Dodgers than for the final stretch. The only way this makes sense is if the team making the claim feels the Dodgers are worse with Manny on the team than if he leaves and goes to the AL. So, after all the twits*** nothing so far today, - how is this not the "multiple teams" are the Rangers and White Sox and the White Sox win the priority claim and get Manny per the pre-agreed upon deal that Kenny/Coletti have in place? Sounds that way to me.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 10:07 PM) Someone will actually accept a trade here? Biggest news of the season. Berkman has been a pathetic bust in NY BTW...

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 09:10 AM) Matusz went 6 innings and gave up 3 hits and 1 run against us the last time we faced Baltimore. Matusz just shut out the Rangers over 8 innings his last time out. This kid is coming into his own big time. Tonight is gonna be a tough go... -

QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 06:00 PM) I love when you analyze Becks is hitting .354 and driven in 26 in his last 38 games. What the hell is it gonna take to move him up in the order?! -
QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Aug 24, 2010 -> 05:20 PM) I would say it's plausible to call bull **** but one has to think......what would we have to gain by threatening LAD with something totally false like this? And as it's been pointed out, we dont go public with things like this...unless there's actually a chance. With Delgado, Ozzie wasn't nearly so accepting of it. In that case, Ozzie appeared to relay the honest organizational viewpoint...and now in this case he has relayed an organizational viewpoint again. Ozzie needs the STFU and stay out of KW business.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Aug 24, 2010 -> 10:47 PM) If we keep chipping away at this lead like we did tonight, Manny would like mighty fine hitting third or cleanup. Pierre Becks Manny Konerko Rios TCQ AJ Alexei Omar/Teahan ^ That's the sh*t right there for the finish. Those first 6 hitters are legit and Manny makes them better.
