  1. I thought the big reveal was that Jon Snow and the chick he was kissing who rides dragons were actually brother and sister? They are aunt and nephew?
  2. I have watched 2 episodes ever, and I didn't like it. The show is just not my style. But my girlfriend loves the series, so she made me watch tonight's episode with her. I hope that wheel chair kid wins the thrown, and I hope that Jon Snow dies for being a sister-fucker.
  3. I'm excited that Abrams is back. I really loved TFA, and I really hated TLJ. Kind of don't get a shit if he picks up with what he was trying to do with TFA and tells Rian Johnson's TLJ storylines to go fuck themselves.
  4. Collins was in the dugout for at least an hour tonight holding a bat and slowly swinging and visualizing his ABs. I was just waiting for him to be announced as the PH. Never happened.
  5. Because then...*checks notes*...DJ Peterson wouldn't get the ABs he needs to prove himself.
  6. No Collins tonight..... This shit happens to me every damn time I come down to Indy for this series. Sigh.
  7. MLB Pipeline on their latest podcast did a mock top 10. They had the Royals taking Witt Jr and the Sox taking Vaughn. They cited the fact that the Royals just drafted Pratto with their 1st RD pick in 2017 as well as their love for athleticism as reasons for them taking Witt Jr.
  8. I'll be at the Knights games the next 2 nights, sitting directly above home plate. I'll be tweeting any relevant video and commentary.
  9. If we can't get a nearly NHL-ready guy at #3, then I hope they trade the pick for a top 4 D-man. Hawks are playing with house money from this lottery and NEED to use this window of Kane/Toews/Keith/Crawford.
  10. I'm with ya. People can joke all they want, but $500K means he has actual talent. I would like to think they wouldn't throw $500K at him if this was just a strictly "he's got lineage" play.
  11. Hawks have the 12th pick right now. Lottery is tonight at 7 pm. They have a 2.5% chance at the #1 pick.
  12. LittleHurt, Southsider2k5, and I have all been talking about Disneyland, not World.
  13. I was there. First time I've mingled among SoxTwitter people, so it was cool meeting the SoxOn35th guys and the 108 guys and some others that I recognized as their twitter handles. Kind of funny how most people just stare at you until you say your Twitter/online handle and then they are like "Ooooh, I've seen you!". It's a strange concept. It was a really solid day of tailgating and drinking though. And since I don't drink much since college, I did get myself pretty toasty before the game, so I really couldn't remember much about Eloy's 1st AB. But as I sobered up and the game went on, the crowd did stand out. But, of course it was the Home Opener. Let's see how the crowd is 2 weeks from now on a Tuesday game if this team is still sitting at .500 or above.
  14. I was intrigued by his skillset and not really having anything like him in the system.
  15. At Disneyland??? I don't recall ever spending even $50 for the girlfriend and I on any one meal. We weren't eating fancy, but we also weren't eating fast food or anything.
  16. This was my immediate connection when we drafted him. Couldn't think of a good way to make a nickname out of it, but I did suggest that WSD put that logo on a T-shirt. As for a nickname related to it? "Little motor"?
  17. If it's Bishop, it better as fuck be for underslot. If we are passing on Witt, we better be saving money for some hard-to-sign talent that the Dbacks don't snag.
  18. 2017 was the first time my buddy and I had ever gone to an opening day. He said he will never go again now.
  19. Machado with his 1st dirty play of the Padres era. He hit a pop up to the catcher, and even though he was called out because he stepped on the back of the catcher's foot, the dirty part was that he gently tossed the bat right next to the catcher's feet as he was tracking the pop up. The catcher ended up dropping the ball in foul territory, but Manny was ruled out for interfering. And then of course he had to be restrained when he was ruled out and his manager was ejected for arguing it.
  20. Apparently and understandably, season ticket holders are PISSSSSED. I just got my tickets last week, and I think it was $157 for just 10 games. And honesty, I would just cut out April and September games for weather reasons, and you still end up with like 40+ games for $200. That's pretty incredible for nearly every game in May-August.
