  1. I don't mind Will Smith as Genie, but yeah, that CGI looks awful.
  2. She also posted it on her story as well. Exact same video. So decent chance she took the video and posted it on both.
  3. We could always see his rights traded, like Russell Wilson. Let's say that Murray goes to the Dolphins. Maybe the Marlins trade for his rights at some point thinking that if he flames out in football, he can try baseball and stay in the same city.
  4. I just watched it on her IG an hour ago. EDIT: Just checked, still there.
  5. The story of the shoes is supposed to be open for interpretation, which is why those 6 words are remembered as such an impactful story because of the different ways it can be taken and the story the audience creates behind it.
  6. Because it was easier than copy and paste on the tweet, because then it creates a link to the tweet instead of copying the words in the tweet, and then I would have to remove the hashtag and add a space. Trying to save myself about 9 seconds while I'm at work sneaking my phone out to beat anyone else to the joke. ?
  7. There is room when he's better than most of the hitters on the roster.
  8. If you give up your parental rights, does that mean you are no longer liable for child support? If so, then I guess that's not a terrible outcome if she really doesn't want you to be a part of her life or the child's, then it shouldn't really affect your conscience much if you also don't want to be a part of her life. As far as changing your number so she can't track you....well, once you go to court, I would imagine she will have your full name. And even if you guys have ZERO mutual friends, she can probably find you on social media/FB. So I don't think changing your number will do much, especially when you can just block her number instead. And maybe even proactively block her from your social media too (She can still find you if she really wanted to by just making new accounts or googling).
  9. Yup, my buddy and I are planning for this day as well. I'll be in Indy that weekend before the 15th for some Knights games, so I'll just bring Eloy back with me.
  10. 6/26 is my birthday, and I used to see 626 so often in my life that my friends all started noticing and sending me pictures of times they would encounter it. So.... I'll throw my hat in the ring at page 626.
  11. He's already said that he was just going off the rumor that Yankees offered $220M. He has no insider info. Nothing to see here.
  12. And as a Plan B (no pun intended), at least talk to her about adoption. That might at least be a good compromise for the two of you, and one that shouldn't leave anyone feeling guilty. But I wouldn't really bring up adoption until she is completely past the idea of an abortion.
  13. Well, I'll skip the lecture about the "I'm sure it will be fine, I haven't gotten anyone knocked up yet!" attitude you had and skip straight to the idea of abortion. I think you should absolutely keep firm that you want her to have an abortion, and as much as it is her decision, it's also your life too, and you really don't have an option to just walk away, both legally and emotionally (assuming you're a normal rational person). The longer she waits, the less likely she is going to want to do it and the more guilty she might feel about it since it sounds like she currently has some guilt about it. It's obviously easier for you, and especially me, to say, but obviously don't bully her in to it either. It's not an easy decision, but it sounds like you and her parents and her at least at one point felt like it was the right decision, so I would keep going down that path, especially since you guys seem to barely even know each other.
  14. That's a really good one, but I'll take Lindor. 9 weeks puts him at like April 13th. 7 weeks puts him at March 31st. Eloy only has a chance if Lindor stays out 9+ weeks and even then, he may have a couple games on Eloy's debut.
  15. I took it as meaning that they've already agreed on money and years, and have now moved on to finer details like opt outs and incentives. But still, no reason to believe this guy.
  16. What does that mean? Like your return was less than usual?
  17. I could have sworn I heard someone they wanted another random twitter user claiming that they had vague and never-to-be-confirmed information, so here you go!
  18. If the Yankees have truly offered $220M and he hasn't taken it yet from his #1 destination, then it must be because the Sox (or someone else) currently has a significantly higher offer and he is waiting for either the Yankees to improve their offer, or another team to beat the team that currently has the higher offer. That being said, maybe the $250M that Passan and Gomez tweeted out was real, and that $30M gap is enough for him to not take the Yankees $220M offer and hope they can find some more money for him.
  19. Hector is starting to get annoying. He's honestly no different than Dan Clark right now, other than he hasn't been wrong yet. I guess im glad he is confident, but he's setting himself for a world of shit if Manny doesn't come to the Sox.
  20. Are all the seats in the entire section cushioned with a counter? I thought that was just the front part of the section? EDIT: Ok, I can see the counter now in the graphic. Hmmm.....interesting.
  21. Yeah, basically 20-30 rows farther back, and no table, and not a decision we can make after we already have tickets for the game. But it is weird to me that those tickets are cheaper than bleacher and OF reserved tickets. I will definitely try a game there, but I doubt we will get our 10 game plan there.
  22. I like this trade for them. I loved it when it looked like they could get Medina or Bohm or Garcia, but Realmuto only has 2 years left, and while he is a top 2 catcher, we are talking about a 4-win guy, not a 6-7 fWAR star. The different between the #1 catcher and #30 catcher in 2018 was 4 fWAR. The difference between RF was 9.3, CF was 8.7, 3B was 6.8, at SS it was 6.6, in LF it was 6.3, at DH it was 6.1, at 1B it was 4.5, at 2B it was 4.5. For SP, the difference between #1 and #30 was 6.1 fWAR. The only position that had less of a difference between the best player and the #30th best player was in the RP category, as you would expect, at 2.3 fWAR. The moral of this post is that according to the data we have on catchers, which in fairness doesn't including framing, which they haven't quantified yet for fWAR (AFAIK), the difference between the best and the worst is the smallest of any position. There really aren't any superstar catchers right now. Even the BEST catcher in the sport is only the 25th most valuable position player in baseball. I like what the Marlins got.
