5 yrs/$50M if the Reds pick up his 5th year option of $12M. Otherwise, 4 yrs/$37.5M.
Seems like a pretty team friendly deal to me. I like this for the Reds.
If the offer is truly for Fulmer and Bummer, I take that every damn day of the week. If it's those two guys plus Bush? Ehhh, that would make me very nervous.
Fulmer, Bummer, + Luis Curbelo?
Dirty John on Bravo (I know, right?) was a pretty crazy 8-part docu-drama. A very true story that has an unbelievable ending. If anyone decides to watch it, I implore you not to find out the outcome. I watched all 8 episodes in about 3 days and then watched a documentary on it with the real people involved.
Saw a funny tweet about Romo saying having him broadcast a game is like watching a movie with a friend who correctly predicts the ending every movie before he sees it. Actually, it may have been Palka.
10 days ago the Rams and Cowboys were going to play each other. And you're making fun of me for being excited that one of my favorite teams is making the Super Bowl?
I assume you're not as stupid as you're coming off right now. I hope. Maybe as a moderator you should know better than to randomly starting picking fights?
Be less bitter.
RAMS GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!! YESSS!!!!!!
I didn't expect to be so geeked out of my mind for that game. I can't even imagine how my body will react to the White Sox making the World Series again after how I felt during the end of that Rams game.
Ugh, please bring on the Chiefs.
I'm guessing it's someone who has really taken to a data-driven approach to pitching and has worked with some cutting edge programs. There is a story about a 38 year old who hasnt pitched in 10 years getting his arm up to 98 MPH through all the new approaches to science based pitching.
I only think Pederson comes "for scraps" if it means the Sox are taking on Hill and all of his money. There is no reason Pederson should be considered worthless. He might be expendable, but he isn't only worth scraps.
Pederson makes $5M in 2019, and then 2020 is his final year of arbitration.
Hill has 1 year left at $18M. Hopefully Hill is a negative asset and the Sox take him to either reduce the return for Pederson. Makes the "Fulmer/Bummer" scenario more plausible.
Dodgers already saved money with the Kemp/Puig deal with the Reds. This deal would save them $21M in AAV against the luxury tax. Pollock would slot in under that amount.
The "no kids, ever" thing probably lowers your chances significantly. Not saying to omit that, it's certainly something anyone should want to know, but don't be too discouraged online because that's already drastically reducing your prospective pool anyway.
