Going in to the games, the projection changed. He was able to pick up both Eckler AND Ware over me. I was now projected to lose by like 18. By the start of the New England game, I was projected to now lose by 30 points. By the start of the Steelers game I was projected to lose by just 6. AFTER the Steelers game, I was projected to WIN by 16! Antonio Brown came up HUGE for me, and Eckler didn't do much. All he had left was Ertz tonight, and Ertz merely made it slightly over his projection. I won by 14! Phew, what a fucking relief. I almost feel bad beating the same team 4 times in one season, and all when I was the underdog. On to Round 2!

Yeah...and what was stopping the Mariner's from using any of the next 4 "July trade for a team trying to win a W.S" opportunities to get a good deal for Diaz? Breaking that trade down in to two parts make the Diaz half an absolute abortion of a trade for the Mariners.

Surprised how many people were initially upset by this deal. Colome should be an obvious candidate for us to flip. Honestly, Colome might have better trade value this July than any reliever we have traded over the past few years. Kahnle got back Rutherford, but don't forget that Frazier and Robertson were also in that deal. A team like the Braves may be willing to give up someone from their DEEEEP farm system for him in July. They don't have any sort of lock-down closer and may part with someone like LHP Kyle Muller (#14 prospect) or if we can figure out a way to get C William Contreras (#12 prospect) involved.

JP Crawford's is likely viewed as Lucas Giolito going in to the 2018 season. A former very very elite prospect (Crawford was #2 ranked by MLB Pipeline) that kind of hit a wall and fell out of favor with his club, but hey....MAYBE he can still turn it around!
