  3. Sizemore may have not swung .. but that was a strike
  4. I dont believe the bulls got the 1st pick .. that is just amazing .... Lets trade it for Melo!
  5. QUOTE (knightni @ May 14, 2008 -> 07:37 PM) I'd rather have Polamalu; because, you're throwing Brandon McGowan out there when Brown shatters like crystal in game 3. really game 3? .. someones nice
  6. Forgot to mention, the St. Louis Blues signed their draft pick from 05, attended North Dakota -- T.J. Oshie
  7. Wolves beat Icehogs and there will be a game 7 ... Crawford gave up 4 goals in the 2nd and that gave the Wolves the game. Looks like another 3-4 days until we hear a Foley name associated with the Hawks
  8. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 9, 2008 -> 10:17 PM) Damn, J.J. Putz has a 7.5 ERA? How'd that happen? At this time last year his ERA looked like a WHIP. And a pretty damn good WHIP at that. he just came back from an injury so he hasnt had that much time to work it down
  9. Anderson jumps on Putz's first pitch flyout to Ich
  10. QUOTE (rangercal @ May 8, 2008 -> 12:07 PM) If KW can pull out more quentins and floyds out of our aging players through a trade, I would jump for joy. CQ didnt get here through our aging players he got here through Chris Carter who has tremendous power, but I am just pointing that out. People will want to put Thome and everyone out there while they are struggling but once/if they get back to themselves will want to keep them. Konerko with his rights would be hard to trade, Thome wouldnt go to the NL, and then we put guys out there who can walk. You can go trade Thome to Seattle, but what are you gonna get back, Wladimir Balentien would have been great to get before this season since he has not started playing for the M's and showing for the most part he can stay up in the MLB.
  11. Wow that Buerhle rage wont get old. That was awesome, sure him going nuts but the reactions. Gavin Floyds reaction was great, it was like players going to go settle him down then they just stop and walk away for the safety of their lives.
  12. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 7, 2008 -> 11:23 PM) what's the mood in this thread been like tonight? high spirits, everyone behind Buerhle and our hitting, talks about keeping Greg Walker long term in Chicago
  13. Hernandez is going to need like 8 bags of ice on that arm
  14. lol .. wow ... who said in like the 1st two pages that A-Ram would be up to bat in the 9th with the bases loaded to win the game well he wont win it but solid call whoever said it
  15. oh oh i smell a save situation soon. Quick Minn get Nathan up!!
  16. woot alright a 13 run HR .. wooooooo right back in it
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ May 7, 2008 -> 10:08 PM) I agree, that was great. The term "boiled over" comes to mind. BTW, read the NFL offseason thread on the Patriots stuff. What a pathetic organization. just read it. Thats good I hate the patriots anyways so that bat Buerhle was taking hacks with was Uribes? I wasnt paying complete attention but was he pissed or something? because really i think Mark was just trying to put some life into the bat since Juan cant
  18. Needless to say the bat Buerhle used was not one of Nick Swishers ....
  19. Buerhle looked angry .... hah not that its unexpected. I was happy to see it though, I dont know why.
