  1. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Mar 30, 2008 -> 07:06 PM) Just FYI for Firefox users, I've updated my Firefox Extension to reflect the Opening Day roster. You can grab it here: http://www.pcgamingtech.net/downloads/whitesox.xpi Just select the link and choose "Open" (with FireFox), then click to "Install Now". After install, then select "Restart FireFox". The extension will install next to the Help at the top of the Browser and provides quick links to everything White Sox. Still working on a White Sox theme. didnt work for me, I have the other one already, I dont know why this didnt work
  2. QUOTE(BearSox @ Mar 30, 2008 -> 08:53 PM) won't be home until about 6 tomorrow, but I'll be tivoing the game... odds are someone's gonna ruin the score for me though. I always say I want to DVR a sports game, but it always sucks, I cant watch a game again if the result is already known. It just bothers me, but if I watch the game live, taping it is always great cause you can go back and watch the greatness. Hopefully the rain we got tonight here is all they get in Cle
  3. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 30, 2008 -> 07:38 PM) They're doing well on the PP tonight. Its all about the Umbrella formation
  4. Triple post and the score is 3-3 3's allllllll around woooooooo BHawks score on a 5 on 3
  5. QUOTE(BearSox @ Mar 30, 2008 -> 10:29 AM) Contreras is done... I'm hoping this will be his last year with the Sox... And odds are that at least one of Floyd or Danks will fail... but you're right, for all we know Danks and Floyd turn out to make a dynamic duo, to go along with the other duo of Vazquez and Buehrle, leaving the 5th starter spot open for one of Broadway/Egbert next year. I hate that people are saying that because we have two young guys in the rotation who have a lot of potential, that one has to not pan out. So what are the Odds for Ian Kennedy and Phillip Hughes? One of them wont pan out right. BLACKHAWKS SCORED :trails over to the NHL Thread:
  6. I almost lost all interest when it became 3-1. Thank God Jason Williams scored his 13th or I'd be watching the Braves right now.
  7. Can not wait to sit down and watch the game tomorrow... I'll probably be home around 2:15 so it shouldnt be too much time lost. I just want to see a healthy looking, pumped Mark Buerhle and I'll be excited.
  8. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Mar 29, 2008 -> 10:55 PM) Gotta hope for an Edmonton loss tonight -- they're scoreless with Calgary entering the the third. Vancouver most likely won't finish well, as Morrisson is out for the rest of the season and I'm pretty sure Luongo is away with his wife (giving birth to a child). They're not going to make the playoffs, but hey... it'd be neat to see them win out and at least make Nashville, Vancouver and Edmonton sweat a little bit. didnt get your wish .. I think they ended up winning 2-1 .. but we are still 4 out .. and tomorrow means a lot, as well as the others ahead -- but they are ahead we need to worry about tomorrow
  9. Great Game to Watch. Awesome. 4 points out, for those who believe they can win out
  10. QUOTE(Wanne @ Mar 28, 2008 -> 05:31 PM) Mistakes IMO: Uribe (easy to justify though): $4.1M Crede: $4.9M (see Dye) Dotel: $5M (remains to be seen...hope I'm wrong) Dye: $7.5M (As much as I like JD....it was time to move on) Complete waste of $$$: Toady Hall: $1.75M I agree I hate Toady and for Crede its not like we have anyone in the minors to succeed him so thank god we signed him so cheaply after the monster season he gave us last year. Uribe, our middle infield lacks serious depth, we probably should have signed some cuban defects, but we didnt. Dotel, we jumped the gun cuz we got excited to get a bullpen arm Dye, people would have b****ed, but yes I think we should have traded him at the deadline.
  11. QUOTE(knightni @ Mar 29, 2008 -> 12:07 AM) How dear I? It was almost 1am here. well sorry you have to live in Michigan ... I take it back great one
  12. Only half way to 70!!! ... those math classes pay off .. im telling ya
  13. QUOTE(The Beast @ Mar 28, 2008 -> 08:27 PM) I never really understood this trade, Durham wasn't that overpriced and I figured he had some good years left in him for the Sox before he moved onto SF and stayed there for awhile. By the way, what has Reed done for Seattle that was that great? The Ritchie deal was a wash. I was pretty angry when Fogg was traded and when Sirotka was traded for Wells. I loved Sirotka. I loved Sirotka, although I was real young ... He was a stud(in my eyes)
  14. He'll have more then a leg injury if I ever see him
  15. QUOTE(BearSox @ Mar 28, 2008 -> 08:06 PM) I'm willing to bet the opening day lineup will be: 1. Ozuna, 2B 2. Cabrera, SS 3. Swisher, LF 4. Konerko, 1B 5. Thome, DH 6. Dye, RF 7. Pierzynski, C 8. Crede, 3B 9. Ramirez, CF If it's a close ball game late in the game, and the Indians start going to their bullpen, like someone else stated isn't exactly filled with flamethrowers, we should then pull Ramirez and put Anderson out there. Anderson struggles with a lot of offspeed stuff still, but his D makes up for that. I would pout Fields in there instead of Crede .... oh wait
  16. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 26, 2008 -> 06:11 AM) Only 1 Bears WR in the top 64, Booker at #62; http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/new...%3fid%3d3309135 Wheres Mark Bradley?
  17. Bye Bye 08 season It was a fun one and for the 2 games I went to this season is was fun as hell. Hope for a positive Off-season and a smart one at that. Come out firing next season.
  18. I really hope Canseco is wrong. Im not a huge or even big fan of A-Rod .. but I hate Barry Bonds .. and when I hear the A-rod will break the homerun record and whatnot I am content with him doing it. Hes one hell of a player.
  19. It would pain me to see Williams go over Adams. Williams is on a completely different level then Adams, not to mention younger. If Williams goes, tell Adams to go with him. Bring in another veteran bring up the young guys .... aka Colin Frasor(just wanted to get him in cuz I want to see him succeed)
  20. Reed Johnson signs 1 year deal with the Cubs
