QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Feb 21, 2008 -> 01:54 PM) They should just f***ing take him. Pax. You dumb s***. You have a chance to be rid the cancer that is Ben Wallace. Do it. bucher just threw up another 2 min before 2 oclock saying that Cavs first plan is to get Wally from Seattle and that the backup deal was Hughes to the Bulls for Gordon and Duhon which is interesting

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3256776 one of my favorite articles I have read today. I am obviously not the only one who hates Boras here, but this actually made me like Sheffield more(i liked him in his Brave days) and its good to see this cuz the guy just sucks

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/stor...radeTalk-080221 I like this one even better to be honest seeing as this season is good as done ... Wallace-Duhon-Smith for Gooden-Hughes ..its a hate or like trade .. I think i would lean toward like cause I just always feel Wallace doesnt like it here and is "here" just for the money .. idk its a weird feeling i get off him like hes almost too good for the bulls anyways if they traded Wallace and Smith that would definitely take age from us ... could we bring back P.J Brown haha anyways 10 minutes left in the deadline
-
We want some Bulls talk? How about Ben Wallace and Chris Duhon to the Cavs for Larry Hughes that would be quite a trade per Ric Bucher

Hawks win 3-0 1st goal by Kane Next 2 by Bolland 1st shutout of the season and its by Habby!!!! with his first game back from that knee sprain From listening I think that game was just a great one full of excitement. Habby had a lot of nice glove saves cuz thats all I ever heard Players waving their sticks again. Go Hawks!

QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Feb 19, 2008 -> 02:47 PM) Go get Michael Turner and at least one FA OLineman. Then draft OLine in the first round and a WR in the second. Thats exactly what i say the draft picks have to be my picks would be 1. OL Ryan Clady/Boise State (6'6'' 317 22 yrs old) (he is dropping according to some people) .. The reason i think Clady could fall to 14 is because this is defensive line rich of a draft and we could see 3-4 go in the first 10 picks .. if we dont get Clady, Baker will be the pick and like i said earlier in this thread and most people seemed to like it 2. WR Limas Sweed/Texas (6'4''/6'5'' 217 23 yrs old) He is looking like more of a late 1st unfortunately but thats the great stuff about the draft to hope players fall and if he does that would be a great pick up for the Bears. -
I wish I had versus ... stupid wide open west

Bears Cut Moose/Re-sign A. Brown

Yeah I think the Bears need to sign Benard back but I believe he wants some serious money .. As im looking at it now I see the Bears taking WR Limas Sweed/Texas (6'4''/6'5'' 217 23 yrs old) in the 2nd round this year .. just my thoughts though -
Read Here! Read Here! Hot off the press /done Forsberg -- Not going to sign with a team
-
I have seen this over and over .. but did anyone see how the Phillies "hazed" Kyle Kendrick .. definitely good job on their part to get everyone to go along with it .. read this http://philadelphia.phillies.mlb.com/news/...sp&c_id=phi

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 17, 2008 -> 09:17 PM) Maybe he should try picking up the one sitting on the base? apparently he took that advice in the pic after your post .. hes such a beast though

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Feb 17, 2008 -> 08:52 PM) Huh? Are you implying it is on a tape delay? yeah it was implying while still asking the question ... cause I knew TNT wasnt starting it til 7:30 but at like 635ish i saw on the SC bottom line that the West was up 3 or whatever
-
Burish is a beast ... Adams and (forget who it was on the avs) almost went at it from the beginning too
-
So the NBA all-star game started at 6:30 and TNT starts it at 7:30 correct? .. I think thats so stupid
-
were getting biggggger! .. hah I thought that was a pretty nice pic of the decal on the helmets
-
Havlet with his 8th goal of the season -- Wiz and Barker Assist 2nd period with about 13 minutes left in it
-

QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Feb 17, 2008 -> 09:17 AM) I wish I could read that story but I gather DT is offering 3 yrs for Forsberg?? DT must be smoking some good stuff to think thats a good idea... yeah i said that in my post .. but here this should work Forsberg

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Feb 17, 2008 -> 12:36 AM) http://www.rds.ca/hockey/chroniques/245944.html I'm against this, though if his ankles were somehow near 100%, it could be the signing of a legit top line guy. That being said, this isn't the answer I want, especially the 3 years part... I guess we can only wait til monday .. 3 years for a total of 11 mil .. that is a bit much .. I do not think he should be asking for 3 years when you cant even play this season cuz of your ankles ... so idk would it be worth 3.5 mil for the next 3 seasons, Lang can leave after this season so are they thinking hey maybe Forsberg can take that role

QUOTE(bighurt4life @ Feb 16, 2008 -> 11:28 PM) KW gets his head out of his ass and realizes midseason that we are not contenders and trades some of our aging bats/pitchers to solidify our farm system and ACTUALLY be contenders down the road. either that or KW gets fired who do you consider the "aging bats/pitchers" ... Konerko, Dye? The two players who will have no trade clauses at midseason .. KW head is currently outside his ass. We were going no where if we just did nothing this offseason and actually had a mentality of lets just wait for the kids like sweeney, gio to develop. If there is any trade at midseason its that we still have MacDog and Contreras actually does good where we try to ditch those two for something(together or separately) -
if i heard right the Hawks will be wearing the NIU decal on their helmets for the next 3 games (idk if they said home or just the next games) .. but nonetheless a very nice move

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Feb 16, 2008 -> 10:17 PM) Dwight Howards is amazing. the program that came on afterwards is also amazing but yeah Howard was amazing .. and Kapono again proved to be the stud he is

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Feb 16, 2008 -> 10:00 PM) There's a HUGE difference between Tyrus and Williams. Tyrus is an elite athlete that's still only 21, played one year in college, and was seen as a developmental prospect coming out, especially given his serious lack of bulk. He was also widely considered the player in the draft with the highest ceiling. Williams had four years at Duke, making him 3 years older. He was supposed to be able to contribute right away because of his much more developed body and experience. He was also considered a major reach at that draft spot (he was generally projected to go outside the top-10) because of his limited athleticism and length, which is a major reason he hasn't been able to contribute as expected (Not really sure how you can claim he was "blocked" by anyone, Horford is a rookie and Williams was pretty marginal. If he had shown anything he'd have played more given their total lack of inside players, and then they could have used the pick on Conley, who they badly needed). Even if he does rebound a bit he's going to be a pretty average player, while you don't know exactly how much of his considerable potential that Tyrus will fufill. He's really only an afterthought to the trade, the cap space is the only major benefit. thats why i didnt call him that .. Palehose wanted to say he was garbage after two years in the nba .. i was just said with his logic he could say the same about Tyrus as all he said was Williams sucked in 31 games started and then the 11 minutes he gets average each game .. as much as its a cap ditch(which i said already that could help Artest staying) Johnson will probably split most of the time with Ulrich
-
QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Feb 16, 2008 -> 09:12 PM) The biggest piece in the trade was 33 year old Anthony Johnson averaging 6 points a game. Shelden Williams has been absolute garbage in the league and even worse this year than his miserable rookie season. I think that was a scary bad trade for Bibby. Basically the Hawks gathered a bunch of trash and the Kings were apparently impressed by the vast amount of trash gathered. your gonna call Williams garbage for 31 games started ever in his career(all came last season before Horford) .. and about 11 minutes a game this season? He's blocked by Horford and Marv Williams who have young legs just like him so they dont have be taken out much. He has been in the league for 2 years and your already labeling him garbage .. so i suppose next season can call Tyrus Thomas garbage apparently its only right give him a break im not saying he is going to be a god in Sac but he could very well bounce back and the Kings down low needed some young legs. I doubt other teams were willing to give up much for Bibby but the point is his 13.5 mil is off the team and a bunch more cap to dedicate to a Artest signing
