  1. http://www.philly.com/inquirer/sports/2008...in_Atlanta.html take what was said there with a grain of salt .. but the fact that it was said ... boy
  2. I dont know if anyone has posted it, but Shaq appears to be heading to Phoenix on Wednesday for a physical and then that will make him officially part of the Suns. Heat would get back Marion and Banks. Good deal for Heat, crazy down low men for the Suns but Marion has wanted out for a while so I guess this is them doing what they felt right, though I am sure another team could have used a small forward shooting, dunking, rebounding player. if we want to throw links out there -- http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3232862
  3. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 07:22 PM) Hey, we go to the same school. oh oh
  4. So awesome ... made my night .. wooo and I won 15 dollars(not much but its a plus) so awesome though .. I am glad to see Belichick walk off guy is an a**hole
  5. QUOTE(The Critic @ Feb 2, 2008 -> 09:55 PM) I'm just not seeing real effort from Havlat any more, and that's what grating my nerves. I'm sorry, but if you have the win in your hands, I want a better idea going in there than Havlat seemed to have. yeah the surprising thing today was that Havlet actually stood infront of the goalie a couple times .. that was solid but I swear I thought he got injured when he got pushed down when he was by the net(for any who remember it) I was oh great heres Havlet again
  6. dun dun dun ... AL Central Fans ... the time has come to see Johan Santana not in a Twins Hat and Uni! too dramatic? oh well!
  7. Barker? .. Barker? .. i guessed Kane, Havlet, Sharp, and Lang ... but f'n Barker? ... when it comes down to it I do not want Barker shooting in a shootout put Keith/Buf in if you want a "Defenseman" .. I was hoping they would let Ruutu go to try to get himself back
  8. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Feb 2, 2008 -> 05:30 AM) I really dont think having 3 lefties is a problem. Not 2 mention that Danks is far from a sure thing at this point.... But yeah, I have personally always been a huge Perez fan and would love having him on the southside. well then thank god we have this whole season to see if hes any closer to being a "sure thing"
  9. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 1, 2008 -> 08:52 PM) Please let it be Conley Jr. .. but I'm really gonna guess its going to be Lowry and Crittenton locked in a room and Conley watching to see who will be the second guy walking out with him
  10. Oliver Perez would be nice pickup here ... first we would need to find an established #3 though(hopefully someone like Danks or Floyd become that this season) then Perez would be nice. Who knows if the Mets would be able to sign him with Johan locked up and what not. The only problem maybe with Perez is he would give us 3 lefties in the rotation.
  11. UND-Minn Game tonight .. Sweet goal, have to wait for the replay around the 1 minute time to see it real well but #19 Trupp -- #8 Martens and you can see #7 T.J. Oshie(STL Top pick) in the video, but thats not the point I have no clue how to embed .. so
  12. So as part of the deal does Marc Gasol have to wear #16 too? hah
  13. Hot off the press... 7:08 ... A bit off with my post, but its a 7 year now and i assume its starting this season.. but i really have no clue I didnt see it in here http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3226412
  14. So i guess it is coming out at 6 years 137.5 with a 7 mil signing bonus 6 years 24 mil and change starting in 09 is expected
  15. 2 hour extension .. stay tuned again at 6
  16. Guerra is like projected as the best spect they get in this trade surprisingly ... Humber/Mulvey they say one will be in roto and one will be BP(in the future) ... Gomez steps into CF now C-Mauer 1B-Morneau 2B-Casilla/Punto SS-Everett/Harris 3B-Lamb/Harris LF-Young CF-Gomez RF-Cuddyer DH-Kubel/Monroe But anyways Guerra is 6'5'' with 93-95 mph .. outstanding changeup .. probably will be in AA sometime this season and is only 18 .. he not as good as a hughes maybe but then you get Humber(who mets fan say is very good) and Mulvey
  17. My guess would be 6 years 150 mil .. I thought I read the Mets only wanted to give him 5 years but they want 6 or 7 .. so thats my guess is that .. it comes out to 25 mil .. i think the lowest they would go is 145
  18. someone(mod) should change the name of this thread and put my post at the top then again i guess its another 48-72 hours til the trade is final

  20. QUOTE(lvjeremylv @ Jan 28, 2008 -> 07:15 PM) The Mets really only have room for 1 starter. They already have Pedro, Maine, Oliver Perez, and El Duque in their rotation. If I were the Mets I'd go the more safe route and sign Livan. Colon is an injury waiting to happen. Mets already told Loshe and Livan's agents to hang tight, but apparently if a Johan trade fell down so fast that it was good as dead supposedly they would sign one of the above names in the days following
  21. QUOTE(BearSox @ Jan 28, 2008 -> 07:09 PM) any chance Cuddyer moves back to 3B? What would they tell Mike Lamb? atleast they have someone there now .. even I felt bad that they had to play Jeff Cirillo there ew
  22. Tell us that Philly doesnt need Crede anymore and that San Fran will be calling the sox a lot during spring training if Crede looks healthy
  23. QUOTE(BearSox @ Jan 27, 2008 -> 11:10 PM) Didn't you hear? Jerry Owens is fast and can steal bases though! yeah thats why Ozzie hired Jeff Cox so he could "bring the fundamentals of running the basepaths" back
