Elvis giveth, Elvis taketh away

Solid start for Scholtens but 2 runs isn’t enough offense. Time to get him out because he’s getting hammered now.

I can't even watch this team right now, and I'm going to the game on Monday against the Yankees. It's gonna be a 10 beer night.

Sox got 3 off Scherzer in the first inning due to some batted ball luck and Scherzer's inability to throw the ball over the plate. Didn't see that coming...
-
Kim Ng on the Marlins broadcast and mentioned knowing KW for years when asked about how deals come together. Did not mention Rick Hahn.

People love homers. Daniel Palka was SUPER popular when he had an ok year.

Plenty of time for Cleveland to win the division and have a "f*** that Boob" chant, but I don't disagree with him.

Angels didn’t get the memo not to start Giolito on an early start time.
You're not kidding. 3.2 innings, 9 runs. Yeesh.

I like Jake Burger a lot. Great story. He has terrible plate discipline and can't recognize off speed except for hangers. Can he improve on these issues? Sure. I hope he does. Do I think it's likely over a full season? No. I think he's a mid-700 OPS DH carried by his SLG. Did the Sox sell relatively high on a guy they likely didn't have long-term confidence in? Yes.
That said, I'm going to be watching a lot more Marlins games now.

C. Most of the moves were solid value but those players are a couple years away. My rank could go higher or lower depending on what leaks about the Cease offers.

I have no desire to see Hahn get stripped to his skivies
It'd be Reinsdorf if we're following the movie plot

Mocada has sucked for us and is a reason where we are...........BUT DAMN it i want him succeed .
He has so much talent and is a wizard at 3rd.
Here's to hope.......
I hope so too, but I think his back issues means he’s done.

There was no way Luis was getting a strike there. Apparently everyone else knew it but him.

Of course now Ramirez doesn’t make every play against the Sox
That's the craziest thing. He's not killing them at the plate, and he's not playing great D at third.

You know things are going well when TA dribbles one to the right side and it's a hit

At least you can root for these guys...and I honestly I have no idea why since they haven't gotten rid of anyone from the offense yet.
Starting to wonder about some of the pitchers who left. Particularly Lynn.

Bummer in the bullpen like "why can't these assholes play infield defense like this for me?"

Yes, this is the new and improved White Sox.
I am not that optimistic yet, but they do look a little better.

Why force it with no outs? Watching the play live with a quick relay, I did say "they're sending him?"
You trust these idiots to score 2nd and 3rd no outs?

The Guardians executed everything perfectly and it still took a freak incident at home for him to be out
Good setup by Naylor too, but yeah. Basically everything went perfectly for Cleveland.

The send there was fine, just was a very quick relay and good throw home. Looks like Yoan jammed his hand on Naylor's foot

I'd be ok keeping Clevinger in a vacuum if he pitches like this. I'd be even more ok if they trade him for some good pieces.

LOL Allen gave up a homer to a guy who hadn't homered in over a year. DFA him now and let us have him.
