1916 A’s were 36-117-1, and won their last two.
The Sox were 36 -117, 118, 119, and 120. That’s gotta count for something. Even if we finish 40-122, that’s the worst in my book,
I’m thinking he won’t actually be added to the active roster. He’ll just be around for the “big league experience”, which is a funny thing to say at this point. Kind of pointless to have him play 4 games at most.
Hopefully when this all washes out, we’re left with the Yankees, Orioles, Astros, and Guardians playing in the Division Series. Same in the NL- give me Dodgers, Padres, Brewers, and Phillies. Let’s have the chalk battle it out this October.
Eh, we’ve come this far…let’s get it all. Sox were an AL team in 1916, so it should count for something. Split with the Angels, get swept by the Padres and Tigers and finish 38-124 (.2345679).
A 7-game losing streak would be nice right about now.
121- beats the Mets by losses (5-6)
122- beats the Mets by percentage (4-7)
124- beats the A’s by percentage (2-9)
