  1. Tigers magic number is 1. Can clinch their spot with a win tonight on the field.
  2. 1916 A’s were 36-117-1, and won their last two. The Sox were 36 -117, 118, 119, and 120. That’s gotta count for something. Even if we finish 40-122, that’s the worst in my book,
  3. I’m thinking he won’t actually be added to the active roster. He’ll just be around for the “big league experience”, which is a funny thing to say at this point. Kind of pointless to have him play 4 games at most.
  4. Hopefully when this all washes out, we’re left with the Yankees, Orioles, Astros, and Guardians playing in the Division Series. Same in the NL- give me Dodgers, Padres, Brewers, and Phillies. Let’s have the chalk battle it out this October.
  5. To each their own. If you like these tweets, enjoy them. I think they’re lame.
  6. Agreed. We get to mock them. They need to shut up and get better.
  7. 2-4 to go! We’re coming for you 1916 A’s! Thanks Jerry!
  8. Yes, now they have to be 2 games better than the Twins over the last 8.
  9. Fun, but how fast will the Padres score a run?
  10. So…down after 6…that’s a loss!
  11. Is that a wrap on Crochet in a Sox uni?
  12. Chris Sale is going to the Hall of Fame. Do the Sox have to retire 49 for his five top-6 Cy’s and all-star appearances in a Sox uniform?
  13. Tigers and Twins have the same record with 9 left. Twins have the tie breaker. Min- at Bos, vs Mia, vs Bal Det- at Bal, vs TB, vs Sox
  14. Sox at 473 runs. Will have to average 3 runs per game for exactly 500 runs scored.
  15. Eh, we’ve come this far…let’s get it all. Sox were an AL team in 1916, so it should count for something. Split with the Angels, get swept by the Padres and Tigers and finish 38-124 (.2345679).
  16. A 7-game losing streak would be nice right about now. 121- beats the Mets by losses (5-6) 122- beats the Mets by percentage (4-7) 124- beats the A’s by percentage (2-9)
