  1. Pierre LF, Vizquel 2B, Dunn DH, Ramirez SS, Pierzynski C, Teahen 3B, Milledge RF, McPherson 1B, Lillibridge CF
  2. Doug Laumann will be on White Sox Weekly on 670 at noon...or sometime between noon and 1. Maybe he'll offer up where some players are going.
  3. Sox will be facing some decent pitching 3 of the next 4 days--Trevor Cahill, John Ely, Mat Latos, Felix Hernandez. Dodgers game tomorrow in on WGN.
  4. Milledge was on the radio last night after the game. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/?podcast_url=h...mp;dcid=CBS.CHI
  5. Humber...lock Milledge...lock If Peavy is ok, this roster is set.
  6. Beautiful swing for Flowers. 2-run homer. That was something.
  7. It's such a nice thing when the ball is hit to Morel. You know the throw is going to be on the money. Teahen...hold your breath, and hope. Humber dealing. In my opinion, the 25-man roster is set...barring a trade/injury.
  8. I find it to be showing off. There's no good reason to be rounding the bases, and then consistently taking off your helmet coming down the 3rd base line. I read somewhere the catcher didn't appreciate it the other day, and said something. Again, just keep the helmet on, cross home plate, and go to the dugout. It's not that difficult. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Mar 18, 2011 -> 08:02 PM) I still fail to see how it's a dick move. I mean, if a player were to jog back to the dugout with his mitt on his head after each inning, I wouldn't call him a dick just because it is weird and not done by other players. It's just simply that, weird.
  9. No, I'm not giving him a break. There's no excuse for acting like a prick. b****ing in a spring training game with a 13-run lead, taking his helmet off before getting to home plate on home runs. These are dick moves, and they need to stop.
  10. What is with this PA guy? I think he should apply for the Cubs gig.
  11. Hey guess who the Sox play tomorrow? Oakland. Just a hunch--McPherson, Danks, and Flowers will get a start.
  12. I don't know if anyone just watched Milledge's last AB, but he's really an ass. 13-run lead, and he's pissed about a call. Strikes out, and tosses his equipment. He really is an immature player. He's not good enough to act like that. Just my 2 cents.
  13. 2-out, 3-run bomb for Beckham. Long one to left. 6-1, Sox
  14. Beckham walked, sb, rbi single for PK. This PA guy sounds really light in the loafers. Rongey needs the bell for all of Melton's mispronounced names.
  15. Barry Rozner is on B&B today. He's still hearing the plan is for Chris Sale to close. Truthfully, I just can't believe it at this point in spring training.
  16. Rongey with the call. Sox: Milledge RF, Beckham 2B, Rios CF, Konerko 1B, Quentin DH, Ramirez SS, Castro C, Morel 3B, De Aza LF A's: Crisp, Barton, De Jesus, Willingham, Matsui, Suzuki, Ellis, Kouzmanoff, Pennington Pitching for the Sox: Danks, Humber, Bruney, Gray, Infante
  17. Nice bounce back for Jackson after the 1st inning. Scoreless inning for Sale, but a walk and 2 hits. I love his arm, and I'm sure he'll be ok in the pen, but there's part of me that wishes he was getting 27 starts at Birmingham this season.
  18. QUOTE (jphat007 @ Mar 17, 2011 -> 04:07 PM) Spring training means absolutely nothing. Even the last week. These guys aren't going to turn it on until opening day, regardless of what anybody says about them. I'm only going by what Ozzie said regarding the end of the spring training. He said it would be the regular lineup and using the pitchers (to an extent) the way he would in the regular season. Whether they win those games obviously doesn't matter. But I think the effort will be there, and I think Ozzie will demand that effort even though they are spring training games.
  19. Hopefully just a blip. I'll want to see real winning and a real effort to win starting next Wednesday, when there's a week left. If they do that, at least they won't be accused of not being ready for the start of the season.
  20. 2 run single for Castro off Ubaldo. 2-0, 1st Jackson getting slapped around by Milwaukee. 4-0, 1st
  21. You can listen to the Brewers game free through brewers.com. Both games at 3:05. vs. Mil: Pierre, LF, Beckham 2B, Dunn 1B, Rios CF, Quentin RF, Pierzynski C, Ramirez SS, Morel 3B, Jackson P vs. Col: Milledge LF, Vizquel SS, Konerko 1B, Teahen 3B, Castro C, De Aza CF, Danks RF, Lillibridge 2B, Pena P
  22. SF: Burriss 2B, Fontenot SS, DeRosa 3B, Rowand CF, Ishikawa LF, Belt 1B, Schierholtz RF, Eldred DH, Whiteside C I'd like to see Buehrle get some quality innings this outing.
