  7. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 29, 2009 -> 01:09 PM) Nope...the runner was picked off leaving early from first (on a steal attempt), Harrell noticed it, they had the runner caught between first and 2nd, then the runner from 3rd broke for home and they caught him in a rundown after the throw from Gordo. Ah. I misread the description.
  8. Looks like Beckham threw a runner out at home on a 1st and 3rd steal situation. Nix 2-3, 2 BB. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if he's in Arlington on Friday night.

  17. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 03:52 PM) Eh, I miss the conference call. I get why they're doing it but I prefer the old school approach where you can knock out the first few rounds in no time at all and move on with your day. The made for TV bulls*** does nothing for me, you don't need 5+ minutes to pick a player when you can't trade picks. I agree 100%. Especially now that it's over 3 days...GMAFB. I'll care less this year than ever.
  18. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 02:58 PM) I hope that Selig, players and fans can be there. Kind of like NFL or NBA. Or like last year, when it was on ESPN.
  19. QUOTE (aprec32 @ Apr 28, 2009 -> 01:46 PM) Anyone know when the last time we swept a double header was? Last September vs Detroit. Vazquez last win with the Sox. Wise grand slam in Game 2. How quickly we forget.

  23. Nunez with a 1-2-3 inning to finish it. Shelby made a nice running catch in the 9th. Barons win 4-2, and move into first place with a 12-5 record.
  24. Shelby on third, one out....Beckham pops out to the 1B on the first pitch. Ouch.
