Hahn said Eloy was disappointed that they were erring on the side of caution. He thought it could just be a few days. Hahn said hopefully he’s back in 2 weeks.
If this season is more of the same with underperformance and the same old guys always getting hurt, they have my full blessing to absolutely dismantle the 40-man. But again, not Hahn.
Ok, enough with this. We get it. Players can get hurt a lot of different ways. Keeping Eloy out of the outfield was never a bad idea. Why? Because he sucks in the outfield. He’s a losing defensive player.
Weather looks great to get the next 8 games in. Giolito gets opening day in Pittsburgh. High 60s in Minnesota next week. Do we need a catch-all thread?
I understand how fans want to win 2 out of 3 before it happens, but hopefully the team doesn’t see it that way. If you have a game today, play it to win and move on to the next day no matter the opponent. Hopefully this team doesn’t talk about “winning series”. Play to win everyday and embrace winning streaks.
Guardians win. They play again in Cleveland next weekend. Nice scheduling. A lot of this balanced schedule will be not who you play, but when you play them. Sorry to sound like Hawk, but it’s true.
I don’t know what happened, but by the time Tucker got to it, I thought it was going to be a stand up triple. Obviously, you can’t make the first out at third base- and I really don’t know why they didn’t review it either. Bad play.
