I was very surprised to see we're 3rd in defense. I really feel Robbie Alomar has sparked the entire team defensively.

If we win tomorrow I think we have a great chance at a sweep with the 2003 CY-YOUNG award winner goin Thursday...

I think Carlos has silenced a lot of his critics this year. I'm more impressed with the .290 BA more then anything. He's got a good shot at .300 if he keeps it up. He's been one of the top 5 players in the al since the break. Way to go Carlos

1st of all I wasn't talking about Sox fans on this board. I was talking Sox fans period. 2nd of all I've been to 11 gms this year. I try to get out there as often as possible. But I go to school and am on a tight budget. All I was saying is that more than likely they're are gonna be a bunch of front runners that never bothered to go to a gm during the season but will be sure to be there come playoff time...

The schedule makers must be diehard Cubs fans. I mean what kinda September schedule is that? Anyways. Cubs have been playing too well of late. They're bound to hit atleast 1 more slump before the year is out. And like somebody just said. If they do make it. They're out in 3 to either the Giants or Braves...

I totally agree with u man. It's pathetic that we don't sell out EVERY night. The same fools that claim they can't get to the gms r the same ones that r gonna buy up all the playoff tickets. If we get there of course...

Bartolo was fantastic tonight. He didn't have his best stuff. But he battled and battled and got it done. I knew he was gonna step it up when it really counted. I can't believe he was throwin 101 mph in the 8th inning. I guess he really does get stronger as the gm goes on. I don't care what anybody says. If we win this division Bartolo should get the call in gm 1. He's got experience and is our best big gm pitcher...GO BARTOLO

I don't know how anybody can get on Pena. He's kept his team in the race all year long despite having 20 gms below .500 talent...

He could get 14 or 15 with a good finish...I think he's 11-10 now...

I had predicted this year to be Jon's breakout year. I can't say he's broken out. But he's made really good improvements...With some better luck next year 18 wins isn't outta the question...

I hope he can continue this next year and stop to be a one half hitter. Very good point. If PK could put together a full season he would be a top 5 mvp canidate. Add up his 1st half last year with his 2nd half this year and u got the mvp...lol...

Same old bulls***. We can't seem to score without hitting hr's. I thought we shoulda scored atleast 7 runs tonight maybe 8. But we still can't get guys in with less than 2 outs. Jon Garland once again was great. U could argue after Loaiza that he's been our 2nd most consistent pitcher the last 3 months...

The Sox r just totally killin my spirit right now. I don't even feel like posting anymore. I'm really startin to wonder r we gonna be sittin at home come October. With the talent on this team that would be a tragedy. My worst f***in nightmare has come true....Cubs might make the playoffs while the Sox r at home contemplating what went wrong...
