QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Mar 1, 2011 -> 06:50 PM) Should have brought him back once Purdue took momentum back. You can't let them come back and tie the game at halftime like Illinois just did. And that is why Crandall doesn't play more by the way. He makes some great plays and is a phenomenal athlete but he is careless with the ball and that year off because of the ACL tear really slowed down his development. Considering what's at stake and being a 10 pt. road underdog, he definitely should have brought him back to try and slow down the home momentum. I agree about Crandall, definitely looks like he can be a playmaker in the future. I don't know if it's just the #4 jersey, but he totally reminds of his brother already. -
Guess who just showed up on Twitter with one of his female friends???

Keep McCamey in!!!! 31-18 Illinois before he picked up his 2nd foul, lucky that the game is still tied at halftime. -

Sharks sign Niemi to 4 year, $15.2 mil deal. He was never gonna get a deal like that from the Hawks. Good for him. He has been on fire recently. -

Refund showed up in my account on Friday. I know I'm just giving the government an "interest-free loan" every year, but if I had the extra hundred bucks every month I would just spend it on god knows what. This way, its like I get a huge bonus every Feburary to spend on whatever I want, like a toy for my new backyard.

NHL trade deadline, think it's my favorite deadline day, always seems to be tons of action. Hawks had been rumored to be picking up a D-man, and with the possible injury to Hendry last night, that makes it even more likely. It sucks that they gave up a point to Phoenix last night, but the win was huge, especially with Nashville/Calgary/Anaheim all winning. Fun game to be at, definitely starting to feel more like a playoff-like atmosphere towards the end. Keep up the hot streak and steal two points in Minny tonight. -
QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Feb 26, 2011 -> 07:33 PM) Does it require a board? We played with an actual board with horses and pegs, but I googled it and you can play with poster board and cut-outs just as easily I'm sure. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 26, 2011 -> 07:35 PM) My dad plays it with his buddies all the time but with race cars. He even makes his own boards. He's retired, give him a break. The kids I played with made their own detailed boards with horses, and they are in their 20s. Give them a break.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 26, 2011 -> 05:48 PM) If that were the case...then taking an immediate buyout would be an intelligent financial option...it'd take a portion of next year's income, which might not even happen because of the lockout, and turn it into money in his pocket right now. Like I said...Financial management doesn't seem to be a strong trait in many NBA players.

QUOTE (ChrisLikesBaseball @ Feb 26, 2011 -> 08:50 AM) I woke up this morning and realized I had drunk Facebook-messaged a couple of people.. Humorous and dangerous to say the least. This did prompt me to go back through previous messages I had sent, in similar states of mind and I am extremely pleased with how many of them led to positive situations. It's the drunk dial of the 21st century!

Has anyone ever played the horse racing dice game? We played it after our poker game last night, it was so fun and so addictive. Best gambling game ever.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 26, 2011 -> 04:59 PM) If you'd already made $73 million prior to this season, would you care quite as much? Do we know how much of that money he has left? Financial management doesn't seem to be a strong trait in many NBA players.

Maybe the Sharks still want Hammer to that offer sheet??? Bolland would be easier to move, but I'd hate to lose him. Flyers claim Boynton off waivers. That's two ex-Hawks in a few weeks. -

Re-signing Sharpie after next year seems less likely now. Although, with the way Leddy has been playing, I can see them moving Hammer this off-season. (Assuming they can't find a taker for Campbell)
