  1. QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 12:26 AM) Is she a prospect in the Rockies system?
  2. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 09:04 PM) For anyone else who watches the MTV Challenges, Dunbar doing porn now. Ick I'll be sure to avoid that. Good for him I guess. MTV On Demand is killing me. I caught the 1st episode, but after that I moved then had to deal with setting up cable at the new house and what not. I was just able to DVR the 3rd & 4th episodes, but I still need to watch the 2nd one, and its still not on demand, over two weeks later. I can't handle the wait!
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 08:50 AM) Kind of easier to march through jungles when you have napalm on your side. Love the smell of napalm in the morning
  4. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 07:31 AM) I seem to remember a very different opinion of Uribe when he was a White Sox. Totally. This thread makes it seem like everyone loved him and never wanted him to leave. I don't seem to recall that being the case.
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 07:27 AM) You can give him a little bit of criticism for things like not having Feliz warm when the game started to get out of hand...but Washington can't make the pitches, and he can't make his batters hit Matt Cain. I can't look at either of these games and say "Ron Washington has cost them this game". True. He hasn't cost them the last 2 games, but I think his management of his bullpen & the Vlad in RF situation have made you question some of his decision making, and that's not just hindsight. That goes back to game 1 of the ALCS as well.
  6. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 01:41 AM) Ron Washington is finally being exposed for the bad manager he is in this series. Two games just got away in the blink of an eye. I think someone needs to drug test him. Maybe he's back on the stuff??? Seems like it with some of these moves he has made,
  7. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 10:40 PM) Yes it is and his father is not at all involved in his life. Gotcha. Never mind then. Brings back memories of those King teams though. Him and Rashard Griffith were beasts. Never did much after HS though.
  8. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 09:22 PM) Big fan of this: http://yourseason.suntimes.com/2844026,102...llinois.article That Tommy Hamilton Jr., thats not the son of Thomas Hamilton that played for King in the 90s, is it??? Cause if he is, I would probably avoid that awful work ethic.
  9. QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 08:18 PM) WOW. Another homer for Uribe. Giants up 1-0. Edgar Renteria-Uribe??
  10. I'll probably jinx it but Cain/Wilson >>>>> Lincecum/Lee.
  11. 12. link This whole "upper/lower body injury" thing in the NHL is pretty damn annoying.
  13. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 11:16 AM) Michael O'Brien from the Sun-Times is stating that Shaw will choose Illinois today. What a huge kick in the nuts that would be if he turns out to be wrong. Yup, its official
  14. ESPNChiHawks 2 weeks for hossa Good news if true, coulda been much worse
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 07:35 AM) I think part of him altering his delivery wound up being that he couldn't stay healthy if he didn't. He either had to choose between getting shelled or the DL. Tommy John did call his name in 2009
  16. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 11:52 AM) I am hoping as well... sounds like it could possibly be a shoulder injury again...this has me nervous. Not sure who is reporting on Waddle and Silvy right now about it. I'd assume its Jesse Rogers, this is from his Twitter: ESPNChiHawks No hossa on ice. Not a surprise. When q does not say "day to day" you have to worry ESPNChiHawks But no call up at least not yet so that's something
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 11:24 AM) Heard from a good source that he and Shaw to Illinois which would just be massive for Weber. Damn your source for getting my hopes up!!!!
  18. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 01:24 PM) Rangers have a bunch of guys playing out their ass all year, especially pitchers. It smells like a team of destiny just like 2005. I'm picking them. I kinda disagree with that. CJ Wilson had some great years as a closer. Colby did suddenly figure it out in Japan, but he was always considered to have the stuff, so I think he can keep it up at age 30. I think its a pretty damn talented team, although the lineup more than the pitchers of course. All champs need a bit of "team of destiny" in them, but I think this team is playing way less out of their ass than the 2005 Sox.
  19. The Giants put down more sacrifice bunts this year than anybody except the Dodgers and Padres. The Rangers dropped more sacrifice bunts than anybody in the American League.
  20. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Oct 26, 2010 -> 08:02 PM) Plus he strikes me as a guy who still drinks and does that stuff. Maybe not heroin, but I do remember pictures of him leaking taking shots off of women at a bar when he was claiming straight edge and his shirt was off and all. I think he's one of the biggest phonies out there. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 26, 2010 -> 08:03 PM) Yeah, he admitted he had a setback, apologized, and went through the 12 step response to how you respond to a setback. Exactly Balta. If you don't wanna like him because you don't think he deserves the praise, thats fine by me. But I don't know how you can call him a phony? It's pretty obvious he has a serious substance abuse problem, which is a 24-7 battle, where he can relapse at any time, no matter how clean he is now. Thats what happened in those pics, he admitted to it, and got back to trying to stay clean.
  21. Cowboys (Yes, I did see what happen Monday night)
  22. Hawks practiced with these lines today, should be interesting to watch tommorrow night: Skille/Toews/Sharp Brouwer/Kopecky/Hossa Stalberg/Bolland/Kane Bickell/Dowell/Pisani
  23. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 26, 2010 -> 01:36 PM) Better than January in Chicago. Exactly. Average January temps 15 degrees higher than Chicago, I'll take it. Just gotta make sure my flights can leave O'Hare
