Thats rough, getting cut 4 days before the rosters expand to 40...although I'm sure they did it with the playoff roster in mind

Since the NL gets first dibs on NL players, so I think the only teams we are ahead of in the waiver order are the Angles and the Sawx, so, yeah, there is no way in the world we get a claim in on either guy...

The Ranger was interviewing Coop on the pre-game show yesterday and he kind of went off on him, kind of like Ozzie did about Crede, saying something like:
I'm kind of sick and tired of talking about Linebrink, there are way more important things going on with our team and pitchers than him, and until hes real close to coming back, which right now he isn't, i dont want to keep talking about him
Didn't sound like the best news, might still be a few weeks maybe

Any idea who is gonna start that first game? Checked the box score, Vazquez, Jenks, and Linebrink are the only ones we used...
Hope we hit a homer to win it...the thought of hitting a walk off home run in Baltimore is pretty funny

Josh Fogg pitching for the Reds at Wrigley today...
Reminded of me how pissed I was when Kenny traded Kip Wells and Fogg for Todd Ritchie....I was right about how bad Ritchie was, but turns out Wells and Fogg didn't amount to much of anything, so the trade was just a bust on both ends...

Thats crazy, especially with the way they dominated. Before their extra inning semifinal win against Japan, they had outscored teams like 105-2 in the past two olympics. Thats crazy. Guess if theres any sport where its such a dominating team could suddenly lose one game, it would be baseball/softball...

Kurt Suzuki is now even with us in my book.
Looks like Burnett is pitching Friday vs. NYY, Halladay on Sunday, so looks like the Twins get Burnett in game 3, but get to miss Halladay...
