  1. Josh Fields wanted to quit baseball because so many teammates were cheating on their SOs? Or because he couldn't stop cheating?
  2. No evidence? We have 25+ years of evidence to support my claim. You work for a baseball team so you will always side with ownership anyway, it's your job.
  3. Hes the Monorail guy from the Simpsons, hes Bernie Madoff, just a walking Ponzi scheme. Watching the self destruction in real time is so great.
  4. Some of you guys will just eat up anything the front office says. Reinsdorf will never sign off on what it takes to sign Machado. There is no reason to think he will no matter how many times Luis Robert is mentioned. The Sox rebuild needs to succeed without any premium free agents, its just the nature with their owner.
  5. It's funny how people will blindly support billionaire owners who care about nothing more than their net worth and team value increasing every year, while being so quick to scream "DFA that bum" at the 25th man on the roster, trying his hardest to play well and make a living.
  6. Pretty similar to the Chapman case. An incident clearly happened, but the victim, the only witness, refuses to testify to cooperate. Suspension happens, but chargers are dropped, and a WS contender gets their closer after all said and done.
  7. Given the volitality of Crawford and his injury, I still can't get over the Hawks signing such a bad backup plan. And that's not just a reaction to the preseason game. Ward is done.
  8. He Gone! You can Put it on the Board! Can of corn. Dab gummit. So many quotes that I say naturally simply cause of Hawk, without a second thought. Like him or not, he is the White Sox and he always will be.
  9. At the game on Monday, a guy in front of me had a #52 Gruden Jersey
  10. "What an arm on Trubisky" He threw to a receiver completely blanketed that had zero chance to catch it. Awful announcing. Need to replicate the 2005 game with some defensive TDs
  11. Today has the potential to be a very good day for the Bears in the division, hope they dont f it up.
  12. It takes pure skill to turn a 3rd quarter lead into a 39 point loss.
  13. This defense is fun, the front 7 is so dangerous. I'm glad they beat an inferior team, but disappointed with Mitch, that should have been a blow out but he kept Seattle alive.
  14. If the Bears dont win Monday, it would be so deflating, ruining all the hype from the pre season and the Mack trade. Seattle is not that good healthy, and now they are so banged up, the Bears should be a much better team.
  15. If you are excluding roiders, you might want to delete David Ortiz. And if you want to exclude roiders, then it's not a real Mount Rushmore, because that's what the MLB was in the 90s, that's what the Commish wanted, that's what the fans wanted.
  16. They wouldn't be that stupid. If they were worried about innings but were a playoff contender, they would give him more breaks during the regular season, instead of just keeping him on a normal schedule then shutting him down for the playoffs.
  17. December 23, 2017: Crawford leaves a game and hasn't played since. September 14, 2018: Crawford and the Hawks finally admit he suffered a concussion. Meanwhile, 9 months of speculation, drug/rehab rumors, reputation dragging through the mud, etc. Well played Hawks.
  18. I'd be lying if I said I knew anything the prospects traded, but I can't imagine the Senators had much leverage, if any. He was obviously disgruntled and only a year from free agency, if they hadn't signed him.long term by now, it wasn't gonna happen. Either way, the West is just stacked again, with Pacioretty going to Vegas too. Even if everything goes right for the Hawks and the core returns to old form, it still gonna be a battle to make any waves in the playoffs.
  19. Which is just putting your DBs in front of a ball machine and practicing interception catching all week.
