    Leftovers

Leftover sandwich w/ turkey, stuffing, cranberries, gravy & cream cheese. Holy mouth-gasm.
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 30, 2012 -> 02:24 PM) Hawk would vote for Manziel if only because his nickname is Johnny Football And Manziel has a "z" in it, just like Yaz.
  4. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 30, 2012 -> 01:31 PM) If nothing else, signing him would help the Sox get more attention from ESPN. No thanks.
  5. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 30, 2012 -> 12:31 PM) I'd be shocked if they let Buscemi go, unless he's ok with it. They've said before that they won't necessarily stick with the real life history of these people, but that would be getting rid of the main character in the show. If anything I bet we lose Gillian and the Gyp/Capone/Nucky battle continues into next season. Gyp became too good of a character to lose. After how intense the Gyp/Nucky feud has gotten, I just have a hard time seeing it continue into next season. Once more & more bodies start dropping, what else can you do? They call a cease-fire and talk s*** from seperate parts of town? Gyp is such an awesome character, it would be awesome to keep him around, that's I wonder if Nucky is a possibility to go.
  6. Boardwalk Empire: Thinking about the season finale, it's obvious that either Nucky or Gyp has to die. They killed off Jimmy last season, do we think it's possible that Nucky gets killed? Then season 4 has Gyp and/or Capone as the main characters? I think they could carry the show.
  7. QUOTE (flavum @ Nov 30, 2012 -> 11:18 AM) Read into his last tweet, or just a guy looking for a job? https://twitter.com/HannahanDaily That tweet links to a Mark Gonzales Tribune article that has this paragraph:
  8. Here's a picture of the ticket, QP means "quick pick" so I think it's just a coincidence. http://instagram.com/p/SqS8dpMM6C/
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 30, 2012 -> 08:42 AM) Anyone read this about Illinois football yet? https://sites.google.com/site/truthaboutillinoisfb/home The notion that last season fell apart because Zook was feeling pressure from the AD is a bit ridiculous. You are a coach in the Big Ten making seven figures. If you can't handle your seat getting a little hot, then how you are gonna handle a full season of pressure from the conference? And I also don't buy that all those top recruits were "locks" to come to Illinois. I do get his points about giving coaches more time and comparisons to Wisconsin & such. Personally, I would have been fine if Zook had stayed, but he made so many stupid in-game decisions that were obvious to everyone, that doesn't really help your status.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 30, 2012 -> 08:25 AM) Well, it does sound like he failed numerous drug tests. I forgot that the NCAA tests too, I thought it was all inside stuff that could have been swept under the rug. Never mind.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 30, 2012 -> 08:17 AM) You mean like what Xavier had the guts to do with their best returning player this year? In football, LSU kicked a Hesiman finalist off the team because he liked to smoke pot.
  12. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 29, 2012 -> 07:38 PM) Absolutely ridiculous. They aren't losing games on purpose, they are just making sure their guys stay healthy and fresh over the course of the season. There is nothing wrong with this. I think there were teams last March/April that were benching their best players to move up in the lottery, yet Stern said nothing. Of course though, way more people watched last night's game rooting for the Spurs because of the "sanctions", than if Duncan, Parker, & Ginnobili had played.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 30, 2012 -> 08:12 AM) Russel Martin is out there as well. Nope, he signed a two year deal with the Pirates. That makes me think the Yankees go after AJP.
  14. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 30, 2012 -> 06:42 AM) Oh, and Illinois wouldn't? That's a bunch of bulls***. Just get over your jealous hate. Your pathetic school can't beat top ten teams in any sport. Illinois basketball has two wins over top ten teams this calendar year.
  15. That was the worst fantasy performance for Drew Brees in over 5 years. Thank you Michael Turner. I still hate you, but thanks.
  16. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 30, 2012 -> 06:42 AM) Oh, and Illinois wouldn't? That's a bunch of bulls***. Just get over your jealous hate. Your pathetic school can't beat top ten teams in any sport. Aw, snap!
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 29, 2012 -> 08:04 PM) Turner 10.3 points in the first 4 minutes! I
  18. QUOTE (greg775 @ Nov 29, 2012 -> 02:06 PM) We have plenty of bad relievers. I'd be all for a total reshuffling of the bullpen. I wish we'd trade some of the current parts basically for anybody else. I like Reed. The rest of the guys are all a dime a dozen or worse IMO. Nobody is reliable besides Reed. By reliable I mean by old White Sox standards. Guys who can get people out. What does that even mean? Are the White Sox known as a historically reliable bullpen organization?
  19. Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs Lance Briggs asked if players use Viagra to get an edge as Brandon Marshall said: "There would be a lot of dangerous boners on the field."
  20. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 29, 2012 -> 09:27 AM) At this point in his career, you just hope he can punch one in. Yup, just pray for a pass interference penalty in the end zone, then a 1-yard TD run. Although last game vs. Saints, he had several of those opportunities and looked so washed up while getting stuffed.
  21. Ugh, I think I have to start Michael Turner tonight, he sucks. LawFirm will take one RB spot, but my other RBs are Forte, Felix Jones, & Donald Brown. I don't think I can risk Forte or Jones not playing Sunday, so have to go with Turner as RB2. If Forte does play, can always flex him. I hate Michael Turner.
  22. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Nov 29, 2012 -> 07:32 AM) Four of us left in mine. I'm debating taking either the Bears over Seattle or Dallas at home over the Eagles Tough choice. I hate picking divisional matchups and it's tough to trust the Cowboys, but I don't see Nick Foles lighting up the Dallas D. Seattle has not been a good team on the road, but it's still a tougher matchup for the Bears. I think I would lean towards Dallas.
  23. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Nov 28, 2012 -> 11:24 PM) As terrible as steroids were, this. Rose and Jackson not being in is incredibly stupid. And what I learned from this is that Buehrle had to be a roider. He was drafted in the 38th round after getting cut in High School. Where did the sudden talent come from? Had to be roids. Yes, because Buehrle suddenly became a power pitcher who was throwing 98 mph and striking 200+ guys out a season, right? Not even the same comparison.
