  1. Season on the line, here comes this guy: Gavin Floyd to face a Weaver unfortunately, not that one, but this f***ing guy: Real, bucket-of-suck, & greg775 may be rooting against the Sox today, but lets waste their time and win a f***ing game, huh?
  2. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 01:40 AM) I said they'd win the WS cause of Ozzie. I knew nothing about their roster. If they would win a WS because of Ozzie, why does the roster matter?
  3. White Sox: 12 (11 games left) Tigers: 13 (12 games left) Sunday: MIN (Diamond) @ DET (Scherzer) 12:05 CWS (Floyd) @ LAA (Weaver) 2:35 MIN (Walters) @ DET (Smyly) 6:05 When I get home from the Bears game tomorrow, I better be able to change that 12 next to White Sox
  4. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 11:54 PM) Cabrera has a great chance at the triple crown. I hope he wins the triple crown on a non-playoff team.
  5. QUOTE (Noonskadoodle @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 05:46 PM) Gio first to 20 wins. Man a rotation with him & Sale would have been awfully nice. If Gio is still in the organization, Sox aren't in the same position and might not have drafted Sale.
  6. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 03:57 PM) They're playing a lot closer to mistake free baseball than we are these days and their schedule is much easier than ours. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we hold on and win the division. You obviously haven't seen the highlights from Thursday's Tigers game.
  7. QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 04:08 PM) Orioles on their way to another extra inning win. Unreal. Thome with big double. What is that, 14 or 15 straight extra inning wins? Absolutely crazy one in the Bronx. Oakland hits 3 homers to take a 4 run lead in the 13th, Yankees score 4 in the bottom half, win on an error in the bottom of the 14th.
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 20, 2012 -> 04:12 PM) That was disappointing last night on The Challenge. Yeah, some of these newer contestants are just weird. Although the guys first heat in the Arena was almost as bad ass as CT vs. Bananas.
  9. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 03:55 PM) ugh 6-0 At least I can stop watching that game, those ugly Detroitians in the background give me the creeps.
  10. What a brutal f***ing day schedule today. So many good games tonight, but just garbage games all day. At least FX is showing Colorado/Wazzu right now.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 03:39 PM) So they're not holding him out for a start? Nope, he's pitching the day game tomorrow.
  12. QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 03:23 PM) Gio Gonzalez with 20 wins. That's 23 wins combined between Gio & Dan Hudson.
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 03:36 PM) Tigers offense seems like they're getting a ton of hits every game right now. Home cookin'. Whatever happens these next two days in Anaheim, I guarantee the Sox offense explodes at the Cell vs. Cleveland.
  14. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 12:49 PM) Good work so far, Big Ten. Never underestimate Conference USA
  15. This thread looks familiar. Hey look, the same person started both threads. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86939
  16. St. Louis has the Cubs down to their last strike twice and loses, Milwaukee comes back on WAS in the 9th, Brewers 1.5 games out of the 2nd wild card. Ryan Bruan for 2012 NL MVP.
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 02:05 AM) Royals' Sal Perez is out with a bad hand and Gordon is out as well. They hope to return for the Detroit series. I'm thinking the Royals' hatred of the Sox and domination of the Sox will continue with them laying down vs. Detroit and losing 3 or 4. They don't like us. Let's see if they really come back for the Detroit series. As division rivals, the Royals don't like the Sox, but it's not like they are best buds with the Tigers. I'm sure they feel the same way about Detroit and aren't gonna lay down to give them the division, they wouldn't have swept them in KC last month. For a young team like KC, there's nothing better than stomping your division rivals playoff hopes at the end of the year, whether it be Detroit or Chicago.
