  1. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 03:50 PM) I'd bet money it's an allergy. Try Benadryl. If he/she stops, it's an allergy. We thought about it. A family member's dog has allergies, but she licks her paws way more consistently than our dog. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 04:51 PM) Licking of the paws could also be due to anxiety or stress. Is he/she alone a lot? Yeah, we both work, so he's alone every weekday, so it may be boredom too. But he's like 10 or 11 y/o and it's been like that for 7 years, so he's used to it.
  2. QUOTE (Reddy @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 02:56 PM) 2+ hours of motivation? jeez how much free time do you have? LOL, that was my thought. It's hard enough finding the time to work out, then I have to add in a 2 hour movie before my workout?
  3. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 02:07 PM) It's remarkable how hot the Kings have gotten. Wow. If they win game 4, they will tie the 88 Oilers in going 16-2 in the playoffs. That's a team with Gretzky, Messier, Kurri, Fuhr that won 4 cups in 5 years
  4. QUOTE (The Critic @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:51 AM) Still asking for a login. WTF? When I click on the link, I get the same login problem too. But if I copy & paste the URL into my address bar, it works? I definitely don't have a NYTimes account, I don't know what the deal is, oops.
  5. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 12:20 PM) who do i root for tonight, indians or tigers? Injuries, injuries, and more injuries
  6. ****awaits Keith Law's analysis of Chris Beck as an awful pick***
  7. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 11:10 AM) There must just be a full-time p**** train rolling through there. Does DRose's baby mama live there with him?
  8. Jury selection begins today. The defense convinced the judge to host the trial in Centre County, where PSU is located. So Sandusky's fate will be decided by his local peers, which is a scary thought. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/ncaaf--sandus...t-to-begin.html
  9. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:21 AM) The craziest thing to me are the seizure dogs. Think about the epileptic dogs
  10. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 12:24 AM) Not sure what the Big Ten is doing. http://cfn.scout.com/2/1191938.html I don't think they know what they are doing either. The only thing they are consistent about is their undying love for the Rose Bowl. Personally as an Illini fan, I would love to see them hold on to the Rose Bowl affiliation, don't care about the rest. Illinois will never finish in the top four anyway, so the occasional time they finish at the top of the Big Ten, I would love a guaranteed trip to Pasadena, going there in 2008 was awesome.
  11. We've had to e-collar our dog for the last two weeks when we aren't home or are asleep. Just gives me the saddest look like, "Are you kidding me?". Makes me feel so bad. He occasionally starts licking/gnawing on his paw or leg, but he usually stops before he does serious damage, maybe just some fur comes off. (It's not that often, so I don't thinnk it's allergies) This time he just went to town, and took off the fur and skin, and it just became a nasty open wound. We got it bandaged up, but he immediately chewed the bandage off, so e-collar was the only option.
  12. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:51 AM) Yeah, I think it's kind of cute... Would you say it's ferociously cute?
  13. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:13 AM) Where's Tom Pickle when you need him? Or the old catcher Pickles Dillhoefer?
  14. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 12:56 AM) So AMC is gonna play the first 4 seasons of Breaking Bad starting next week, which will lead up to the premiere of season 5. They're gonna air 2 or 3 episodes a night (late night). I've not followed the show, tried watching the first season, but couldn't get into it at the time. So, I'm going for it now. Gotta clear up my DVR, got 10 episodes of Community to catch up on, 11 episodes of House and the last 4 episodes of Eastbound and Down to finish. Interesting. What night does this start?
  15. Serge Ibaka: 22 James Harden: 22 Russell Westbrook: 23 Kevin Durant: 23
  16. QUOTE (Andy the Clown @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 07:07 AM) Neither. I'd rather be Peavy's wingman.
  17. Bases loaded 1 out. DP grounder, Castro steps on second and starts running to the dugout, instead of throwing to 1st. Thought there were 2 outs already. Tying run scores.
  18. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 02:58 AM) Rangers getting spanked around the last couple of games. FWIW I never thought their starting rotation is GREAT (Darvish is good) and thought they were overachieving much. Are they last season's innings coming to play? I always thought the same thing about their rotation, but that's two straight WS trips with those guys. (Now Darvish replaces CJ Wilson) Somehow they got the job done. The lineup and lights out bullpen (other than WS game 6) obviously help.
  19. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 11:18 PM) FYI, Popovich agrees with you. He called Durant "The best player on the planet" right now. And "the best player on the planet" touched the ball about twice in the last 6 minutes last night. For a while there, it seemed like Westbrook was purposely sabotaging the game, until he finally made a few plays.
  20. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 07:48 PM) If Lebron stays in Cleveland and wins 1 Championship people are saying hes the best ever. If he wins 1 in Miami, people are going to say "So what" No way. Over his career, he would have to had win several to even think about that honor. No NBA player with one title would ever be considered the "best ever". I do agree that going to Miami puts pressure on him to win more though.
  21. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 10:57 PM) It says I have to log in... Me too. Let's try this again. link
  22. Jeff Passan‏@JeffPassan Should be fun to see how Scott Boras gets Mark Appel No. 1-level money with the new rules. And rest assured: He will.
  23. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 05:39 PM) This is why I hated Lebron going to Miami, you could see that it was going to kill Lebron's reputation unless they won a bunch of Championships. It doesn't matter where LeBron went. His future reputation & legacy depends on how many championships he wins. That's how it works in the NBA more than any other sport.
