  1. f*** yeah Bickell! Will be at the UC Tuesday night. Can't Wait!
  2. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 11:47 PM) Need too win this game. Absolutely. Can't let two last-second tying goals on the road go to waste. Just switched back to vodka, s***'s about to get real
  3. Since Hossa hasn't played at all in this series yet, I call he wins this game in OT. The power of the avatar!!!
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 11:38 PM) I think Sharpie got it. Thats one of the worst games I've seen us play in a awhile and we are in OT on the road. Not bad. I agree. As upset as I am at the two bad calls, that regulation loss would have been on the Hawks, not on the refs. This Esposito/Thomas commerical is just f***ing awful. Binny's needs to spend some money to find an actual producer.
  5. SEABROOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY s***!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 11:06 PM) To sound like a canuck fan you would have to say Bettman had a direct line to the refs during the game and was personally directing every call as it happens. And then I'd go to the local shopping center and loot & start a fire.
  7. Hate to sound like a Canuck fan, but I concur that the refs have been s***. That Toews call was awful and Shaw should have been given a normal two minute minor. That being said, the Coyotes had a worse power play than the Hawks this season, the penalty kill needs to play better. Too many guys are setting up shop right in front of Crawford.
  8. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 09:38 PM) Calls do not get much worse than the goalie interference call right there. And it cost them a goal.
  9. what a BS interference call on Toews. Smith came out of the crease to hit him, and Toews stopped before the crease. Hope it doesn't cost them
  10. That's the second time Heath Bell has blown a Zambrano start. He better watch his back in the dugout.
  11. Having every playoff game on TV is just so awesome. This is almost like the first weekend of the NCAA tourney. 35 minutes til puck drop.....get it done boys, looking at you Hossa & Sharp.
  12. QUOTE (MAX @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 04:58 PM) The guys you are talking about almost always get drafted early in the first round. There are more misses than hits early in the first round in baseball. And the sox very rarely get a chance to draft early in the first round. I remember the Sox had a streak of like 10-15 years or so without a top 10 pick. The only other team with a similar streak was the Yankees. The problem is that the Yankees were winning division, while the Sox were finishing around .500 usually. Never awful, but rarely a playoff team.
  13. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 08:04 PM) Any idea what the largest NFL stadium in the NFL is by seating? EDIT: Found my own answer... Cowboys Stadium - 80,000 seats MetLife stadium in NY can seat 82,566. FedEx Field in DC used to seat 90,000+, but now the capacity is 82k. It's funny how the NFL is such a monster, but it's college football with 20 stadiums larger than the NFL's biggest.
  14. Always good to see some national recognition: Buster Olney‏@Buster_ESPN Excellent work out of the White Sox bullpen so far -- four earned runs in 18 1/3 innings...
  15. Brian Wilson to probably need elbow surgery, likely out for the season
  16. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 05:45 PM) I almost forgot Stewart was on the team Time to have a big inning so he can pitch the 9th
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 05:03 PM) It's hard to look at that injury and think that they won't wind up with the 8th seed. They're 1-3 without him in the past couple weeks, but 5 games for Milwaukee is a ton of ground to make up. If Howard comes back for the playoffs, that would suck for the Bulls. Not worried that they would lose, but a way tougher matchup than you would hope for as the 1 seed.
  18. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 12:53 PM) The #WhiteSox-Cleveland game on 4/10 has been rescheduled for 5/7 as part of a day-night doubleheader. First game starts at 12:05PM CDT, second game at 6:05PM CDT. Considering what we saw Wednesday, I doubt there will be more than 7,500 people at the first game.
  19. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 11:57 AM) De Aza, Morel, Dunn, Konerko, Rios, Ramirez, Viciedo, Flowers, Beckham. Floyd Dunn could have used a day off vs. a lefty, but I guess the season is only 7 games old
  20. Daniel Sedin declared out for the Kings series
  21. Don't Stop Now Boys! I want to say Your First Place Chicago White Sox tonight
  22. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 03:58 AM) I cannot recall a player coming up in his rookie year, looking SO good, and falling off like this to where he is now. Ever. Bob Hamelin?
  23. The FOX games today are at noon. So there shouldn't be any blackout for the Sox game at 3, as FOX's window is from 12-3.
