  1. Gotta love the overreaction to one 3-game series all over MLB. Last time the Yankees started 0-3, I think they won 114 games & the World Series.
  2. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 04:54 PM) What more can he do? He simply doesn't have the horses right now. I don't know the exact numbers, but I think the Red Sox only have around 5 quality starts in their last 25-30 games. Not much any manager can do with that.
  3. QUOTE (Cali @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 03:26 PM) Bottom of the line-up needs to do work against their old nemesis Nathan... Remember the last Sox game in the Metrodome Gordo
  4. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 03:23 PM) For all the b****ing and complaining and whining, we're down 1 run to the best team from the AL last year. It's not THAT bad. Yup. After watching this game, I still think this team will be over .500. Not far enough over .500 to make the playoffs though, but over 81 wins.
  5. Then Raul Ibanez happens and it's 6-5 Yankees
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 03:12 PM) If Nathan comes in, I think someone will take him deep. I'd rather face him than the any of the setup guys.
  7. QUOTE (soxfan3530 @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 03:05 PM) Damn, the Rangers bullpen is loaded as well. Uehara, Ogando, Adams, Nathan. That's nasty, although they will need it because their SPs aren't exactly innings eaters.
  8. QUOTE (BFirebird @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 03:01 PM) Do the Rangers go Uehara, Nathan? Or leave Ogando in there? I don't like our chances against Ogando unless PK is up there. Mike Adams in the 8th I believe
  9. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 03:01 PM) Long season ahead not a bad move at all. Yup, let your rookies in the bullpen get their feet wet. Plus, Kinsler was due up third.
  10. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 02:51 PM) I'm at work, following the game through this thread. I can't tell what's really going on with all of the sarcasm and whining. Danks is pitching well when not vs. Kinsler. Dunn homered in the upper deck, Morel struggling, Beckham looks like a AA hitter, Rios actually hustled to score the tying run.
  11. Hopefully Ogando still has nightmares about the playoffs. He was lights out for two seasons until the 2011 WS.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 02:45 PM) The two best teams in all of baseball, IMO, are the Rangers and Angels. If the Angels bullpen doesn't implode, which is possible
  13. QUOTE (zenryan @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 02:37 PM) Doesnt matter when you have Carlos Pena! LOL, Girardi had CC intentionally walk Sean Rodriguez to face Pena, since he can't hit lefties. Oops.
  14. Holy s*** is the Rays lineup awful. Jeff Keppinger batting cleanup?
  15. No Toews tomorrow, still no guarantee for the playoffs. It's very good to see that he is taking this concussion seriously and making sure he is absolutely 100% ready to play. Jesse Rogers‏@ESPNChiHawks Toews: "Kind of a frustrating thing to let another game go by. I just dont feel comfortable tomorrow is the right day." 19:“I’m still keeping that confidence and that positive outlook that things are going to go the right way. That I will be ready for next week Toews: "I was very close to playing yesterday or tomorrow but now we have another 4 days or so."
