Olesz placed on waivers. If nobody claims him, he will probably be sent to Rockford. Hawks will still be on the hook for his $3m+ salary, but it won't count towards the cap.

Once the Red Sox collapsed, the AL vote was over. I do think Manny Acta should have finished higher though. Roenicke was my preseason NL pick, but once the D-Backs went from last to 1st with a new manager, that vote was a given too.
