Damn, same age as me. Sad news. He was a true enforcer, had missed most of the season with a concussion. Wonder if that somehow had an effect on whatever happened.

None of his appearances were really in any pressure situations, so I'm not too concerned that we lost some great reliever. That being said, he clearly outpitched Pena, yet Gray was the one cut. Accountability?
