This goes back all the way to last season. The Sox hit 4 homers against the Yankees in the FoD game with Cairo as manager. Tony wasn't there against the Rangers and the Sox scored 8 runs. Before that game they had scored 5 runs in 3 games. Tony's mere presence sucks the life out of the offense.

Maybe we see Ruiz or Diekman in the 9th, depending on who's up.

The Twins need to get solid starting pitching. Unfortunately, they just wasted Gray and Ryan against the Royals. I think they'll both pitch against the Twins, but the Twins will also be throwing Archer, Bundy, and Winder. All of them failed to go even 5 innings against the Guardians in the last series.
