  1. This is probably the best Valdez has looked all year.
  2. Yeah that's the reason he's playing even though Vazquez is a way better hitter than him.
  3. Tucker played that like Andrew Vaughn Attaboy Romy
  4. Woah, the dugout is actually getting on the ump for bad strike calls in the 3rd inning? That's new.
  5. I thought maxtypedthis was Yoan's biggest fan, but I was wrong.
  6. The Padres all yelled at Profar for throwing the ball in too late on a double. Is Abreu going to yell at Yoan for not knowing how many outs there were?
  7. I know Altuve is fast, but I'm pretty sure that's a double play if Yoan actually threw the ball like it mattered.
  8. Yoan thought that was 3 outs. Jesus Christ...
  9. I agree. Vaughn really should not play RF, ever.
  10. Altuve looks like he got the yips again at 2B on that throw to 1st.
  11. The good thing with Yaz is that his exit velos have gotten better as of late. The result aren't there, but at least he's hitting the ball like a major leaguer again.
  12. He needs to rework the slider this off-season. He needs to throw it more like Cease's. If he's gonna throw it the way he's throwing it now, it needs to be a faster pitch (88-89 instead of 85-86). Cause right now, the movement on the pitch is more akin to a cutter and mid 80s cutters are not very good pitches.
  13. Dusty is running out of options for the 8th inning. I guess Stanek would get the shot today since Montero and Neris both blew their appearances.
  14. Not a good slider. Mancini just missed hitting that one out.
  15. It's more of an issue with how the Sox have way too many 1B types. They need to get more left handed and plug the holes at 2B and RF.
  16. Yeah, if Valdez gets that pitch all night, we're screwed.
  17. Has anyone noticed that Pollock has hit to the opposite field a lot more since moving to the leadoff spot?
  18. This win streak reminds me of the 6 gamer we had in early May. Lots of close wins. The offense wasn't hitting, but the bullpen and pitching was solid and won them a lot of those games. What was funny was that when they finally did score a bunch of runs, the bullpen blew a 6 run lead.
  19. His fastball looked good after all the balls to Altuve. Lots of late life. The pitch Yordan hit was right down the middle and he still couldn't hit it out.
  20. Alvarez just missed that. Unfortunately, if we paid attention to Altuve, that's not a run.
