  1. Well if Tony doesn't do that and Foster or Ruiz implodes, it looks even worse.
  2. Having to burn Graveman and Hendriks in this game because we couldn't score some runs with the bases loaded and nobody out is frustrating.
  3. He gave up most of his runs against AL East teams. Against everyone else he's been pretty good. It's very odd.
  4. The team has been successful despite him being kinda awful offensively in the past. So I don't think the whole rebuild hinges on him. It'd be nice if he showed a pulse for more than a few games though.
  5. Another day where we have to use the back end of the bullpen despite the offense hitting well and the starting pitching doing well.
  6. Eloy, Vaughn, and Abreu have come on this week. But Yoan and Yaz are still miserable af and we really need them to produce to get this lineup back into shape.
  7. That whole inning hinged on Yoan actually doing something productive. Instead he went up there and flailed at some pitches.
  8. 3 hits and you don't even get a run. The odds of hitting 3 singles in a row is probably lower than hitting a home run in 3 at bats.
  9. We're a singles hitting team that is too slow to score from 2nd on a single...
  10. Good lord Yoan, at least make it a competitive at bat. Here comes AJ to ground into an inning ending DP.
  11. Looks at strike 3 right down the middle. Or he grounds out to 1B and the runner gets forced out at home.
  12. He might look like this for a week and then go back to being miserable for a few weeks or get hurt. We're at the best part of the Eloy cycle right now.
  13. He has no pull power. He's hit 4 fly balls to the pull side all season and he doesn't have a hit on any of them. The guy has a great approach and doesn't stick to it for whatever reason.
  14. TA with RISP pulls the ball 42% of the time when he puts the ball in play. When he pulls, he has hit it on the ground 20 out of 22 times. So yeah...it pretty much is every damn time whenever he pulls the ball with RISP. TA's pull rate with no runners on is around 26%. There is a clear change in approach whenever he hits with men on base.
  15. If Tim can't hit a line drive on those inside pitches he really shouldn't be swinging at them.
  16. Isn't he kind of short for first base too? As evidenced on that ball that got over his head against Oakland.
  17. Yoan just sitting there and looking at pitches right down the pipe.
