  1. If Crede breaks it up here, he is officially dead to me.
  2. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 08:21 PM) not sure but baker hasn't walked a batter, and has only given up 4 hits, yet has still thrown 95 pitches through 5 innings...bizzare We're fouling a bunch of pitches off.
  3. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 08:21 PM) I absolutely hate Gomez. Would have been great to see the ball hit him right in the face.
  4. Baker is going up there with a 90 MPH fastball and we just can't hit it. WTF is up with this?
  5. Another team-wide slump. What do you know?
  6. Only Cuddyer and Crede stand in the way...
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 08:09 PM) No, he's killing the flow of this lineup. The 7-8-9 was doing wonders and really sparking this team, but now it seems with CQ as an automatic out in the 7 spot, there's been a lot less flow. However, you keep playing him no matter what, I think we'll agree on that. You know, it is true that we have absolutely sucked on offense since his return.
  8. I just looked up at how often A.J. swings at pitches outside of the zone...38.6% of the time. Surprisingly, he hits it 80.6% of the time. He didn't do this back with Minnesota and San Francisco. It started in 2006...
  9. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 07:55 PM) 37 straight for Mark. Two more flawless innings mark...two more.
  10. It would have been fitting for Gomez to break Buehrle's streak up. I say Punto does it.
  11. This team is so horrible to watch right now.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 06:02 PM) My prediction is we're going to see Fields and a big prospect like Hudson sent to Baltimore for Sherrill, and it wouldn't surprise me if KW expands the deal to include someone like Scott or Huff. I would like that deal, but where would Scott or Huff play...?
  13. QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 06:05 PM) thats a decent prediction. . i know baltamore has been interested in Fields in the past. . . Felix Pie!!!! That'll be something for the Dewayne Wise haters.
  14. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 06:48 PM) Great. Brian is already for the BoSox. ALWAYS CHECK TEH LINKS!!!!
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 06:41 PM) Is he going to buy Jenks an expensive bottle of Pepsi instead? Bobby needs some refreshing in his mind that he does indeed have a curveball. I think this is a good idea.
  16. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 06:25 PM) You mean...you are questioning THE GREG WALKER and his work with Josh Fields??? Though, I agree, we will sell him low and a REAL hitting coach will get Fields straightened out. It's not too hard to figure out why Josh Fields is late on just about every fastball he sees. I don't think it even requires a REAL hitting coach.
  17. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 05:53 PM) Wise stays again! It's because of his defense. I'm not all that mad knowing that defense has been one of the biggest problems on this team.
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 02:19 PM) Was Kotsay in the big leagues for the Red Sox? So we'll need to clear a 25 man spot for him? Kotsay was DFA'd when the Red Sox got LaRoche.
  19. QUOTE (JDsDirtySox @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 02:10 PM) On any other team I would agree... but on the White Sox... Kotsay might be the best defensive OF we have now that Brian is gone. Even with his bad back, knees, etc. Kotsay's not the same guy he was 2-3 years ago on defense. He was terrible on D this year in the outfield.
  20. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2009/07/red-...n-anderson.html Get the Farewell BA threads going. Could also mean the end of Wise.
  21. Okefor would be a nice addition for the Hornets. CP3 can make Okefor into something.
