Looper's falling behind our hitters and we reward him with some groundouts. This is some awesome hitting. Our guys should take some hitting lessons from Mark on how to hit a bad pitcher.

cubs fired their hitting coach...leaves me wondering when walker will go...but i get the feeling that won't be til ozzie goes...which likely won't be soon
Wow. Looks like they actually want to solve their problems, unlike us.

Alexei Ramirez is one of the worst 2-hole hitters I've seen in a long time. He's better suited hitting everyday 6th or 7th. He seems to be absolutely clueless how to handle a baseball bat once Pods reaches base
When he's forced to do something, he's terrible at it. Just put him down in the order and let him swing away.

Little know fact: Matt Thornton despises people who wear their sunglasses at night.
So he hates Corey Hart?

No one is going to come close to giving him that money. This isn't the market 2 years ago.
Here's why he probably will: Scott Boras.
The Yankees look like they need an outfielder and that stadium is the AL's new launching pad. Looks very good for Holliday.
If he gets traded to a contender and does well in the playoffs, he is going to get that kind of money whether we like it or not.
If you get rid of Dye's option for next season, you could definitely use the money on Holliday. He's going to come at around $15 million annually for about 4-5 years. Don't know if the Sox would take that deal on. But since his trade to Oakland, he is going to cost a hell of a lot less.

I thought he lost a hit in the sun?
He did that too. And then he made a failure of an attempt to catch a bloop pop up by Cuddyer the same inning.

What did Bradley do?
He threw the ball into the stands and thought it was 3 outs when it was only 2. Twins didn't score an extra run because of it, but it was funny as hell.
Bradley is a worse outfielder than he is a base runner. That was atrocious. I know it's hard to see with the sun in your eyes, but he wasn't even close on that fly ball Kubel hit.

THIS IS A PREDICTION!!!!!!!!!!!
1. Pods, LF
2. Ramirez, SS
3. Dye, RF
4. Pierzynski, C
5. Beckham, 3B
6. Fields, 1B
7. Getz, 2B
8. Anderson, CF
9. Richard, P
A.J. hitting 4th is a very scary thought.

Let's get another double "YES!" out of Hawk tonight!
He does that on almost every home run that's hit.
At least Josh didn't swing and miss too many times today. 3 walks ain't bad. Although the last one looked was kind of iffy and he almost struck out there. Got bailed out by two umpires.
