It's an organizational problem. I feel like they don't teach or preach those things in development. And the FO doesn't really care for it either. How many guys do we have that are juiced on raw power and talent but swing at endless bad pitches? Even a guy like Eloy, who has a very good hit tool, is being limited by his inability to lay off bad pitches.

A 4 year rebuild resulted in just a 2 year window of actual contention. This core needs a serious retool and without a whole lot coming up from the farm system, I don't see how that's gonna happen. Lucas is gone this off-season. Lynn looks like he's washed and if he continues pitching poorly there's no way his club option gets picked up. If this team is really headed for 90 losses, there's no reason to keep Anderson. This team feels like it's stuck.

It's because the bullpen is terrible. The pitching kept them in games last year even though the offense was s%*#. Without Liam and Cueto coming out of nowhere to give them a 4 WAR season, this pitching staff is toast.

If there's one thing this team is good at, it's consistently losing series.

There's a reason they went out and got Andrus. Romy and Sosa just aren't ML level hitters right now and they may never be.

If they lose both of these games today, you can probably stick a fork in this team.

Zach sucked it up this game. It's hard to win games when neither he or DeMar have great games. Also Billy decided to take Coby out when he was one of the only guys actually making shots. Then they proceeded to score 1 point the rest of the game...

Just IL Moncada. It's already been 5 days. Moncada playing hurt doesn't help the team. We all saw what a healthy Yoan was capable of in the first week of the season. We also saw him not get a single hit in Pittsburgh with a bad back.

A fun comeback like that is probably the most you can ask for from this Bulls team. I think they got a good chance against Miami on Friday. But there's no way they win more than 1 against Milwaukee if they make it through.

Sosa hit a 101 MPH fastball on the black out. I think the breaking ball to Robert wasn't great, but I also don't think it could be classified as a hanger.

Chapman for $3.5 million would have made a lot of sense actually. Especially since he signed after the team learned about Liam's diagnosis.

Duran basically didn't do anything wrong on the 2 homers he gave up the past 2 days. Just goes to show that there's a lot of luck involved in pitching.

So yeah...this team still hasn't won when Cease or Clevinger haven't started. And it really hasn't been the starters' fault the past 3 starts.
