  1. Weird how we finally start beating Cleveland when we suck. I'll take it though.
  2. Maldonado isn't an upgrade defensively and Lee has like an OPS 600 points higher. There's no real reason for him to start more than 1/3 of the games.
  3. A "longtime NFL evaluator" had Spencer Ratler as QB1 and Williams as a UDFA.
  4. jerry really needed to pin down the Naperville Central market.
  5. Platoon him with Grossman when Robert is back.
  6. Lee needs to get better defensively. He's made a lot of progress as a hitter, but some of the mistakes behind the plate are inexcusable for a ML catcher.
  7. It all started with Mark Teahen. Then Benintendi. Now Lopez.
  8. I'm shocked to learn that Lopez has actually barrel'd a ball this year. 1 percentile in hard hit %, 3 percentile in barrel %. 10 percentile in average exit velocity. Only hitting line drives 12% of the time. Who the hell is giving him hitting advice? Cause it's horrendous. He needs to be hitting line drives, not fly balls.
  9. I got tired of Bummer, but they really got back a bunch of minor leaguers. Maybe Shuster can still develop into someone useful, but there's really no hope for the rest.
  10. Clevinger is tipping his pitches. When he throws his breaking ball he adjusts his grip right before his delivery and it's really obvious. He doesn't do that on fastballs.
  11. When Robert is back in a few weeks they need to send Vaughn down to AAA. He's gotta work on some things.
  12. It's pretty sad that the Twins' current win-streak is almost twice the amount of wins the Sox have. Also, they beat the Sox 7 times in that span...which is how many wins the Sox have.
  13. Looks like that got him on the shin. That's gotta hurt.
  14. He's like a .400 hitter vs. lefties this year. .170 against righties.
  15. Keep in mind that he started the year with a home run. If it wasn't for that, his OPS might be below .300.
  16. I don't understand the point of giving Maldonado this start when Lee basically had 3 hits yesterday. Of course he starts his day by striking out on 3 pitches.
  17. lol that pitch was way worse than the one he didn't call a strike on 0-2
  18. What happens when there's a passed ball because it's raining too hard? Or Lopez botches a routine ground ball cause the infield is mud? There's no advantage to playing in pouring rain if you're on defense.
