QUOTE (Jake @ Mar 21, 2012 -> 08:53 AM) No, there were multiple posts complaining that the Bears haven't fixed the backup QB problem From before we signed Jason Cambell?

QUOTE (kev211 @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 10:11 PM) Yeah Bulls management is completely inept at creatively improving the team. They're the best team record wise in the NBA right now, they were the best team in the NBA record wise last year. Yeah sorry I'm going to cut them some slack. The "best team in the NBA" won 1 game in the ECF with home court. This years team is, somehow, even less healthy and has 0 positive additions and once again must rely on a superhero performance from Rose to win in the ECF again. Hooooray bulls management. -
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 03:21 PM) I knew you'd make that response regarding rich. But seriously, say you have equal money, is he who you'd want as your neighbor? I guy who constantly has been in trouble and has a history of violence? Would you want your kids looking up to him on the football field. I love the Bears and I'm very passionate about sports and I hope like hell Marshall is a changed man. But I also don't live under a rock, the reality is this guy has had a ton of chances and thus far has proven he is what he is (an abuser of women) and that is a major problem. If you honestly can't handle NFL players' off-the-field antics....you should probably not watch football. A large percentage of these guys suck at life outside of football. I want a #1 receiver. If he married some chick that stabs him and he pushes around, so be it. As long as he's not in jail or the hospital, and it doesn't impact his game it makes no difference. I also believe Cutler will help keep him in line.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 08:34 AM) No one's taking that contract unless you give them a lot to do so, and the Bulls don't have the assets to do so. They can decide whether to amnesty him next summer or the summer after based on where they are re: the luxury tax. Word on the street is a package deal of Boozer, Rios and Dunn for Pujols, Howard + prospects -

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 08:48 AM) "I have gotten some bad advice," Howard said. "I apologize for this circus I have caused to the fans of our city. They didn't deserve none of this. I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart. I will do whatever I can to make this right and do what I was put in Orlando to do." Translated to: "Oh s***, I'm not getting traded anywhere I want to go, so I better make it seem like I have bad advisers and that I'm still just a nice guy that loves the fans" What a tool -

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 14, 2012 -> 03:34 PM) Dwight Howard reportedly told the Magic during a meeting on Wednesday that he will opt-in for the final year of his contract, keeping him with the franchise through the 2012-13 season. I'm actually rather happy for DBAHO and the NBA right now. Meh so what. So he can lose in the 1st or 2nd round this year, then we have to hear this bulls*** for another year. What a douche -

QUOTE (Felix @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 03:00 PM) How on earth are Bulls fans this defensive? It's quite amusing. Huh? My post is more about hating anything and everything to do with Lebron James and any opportunity to criticize him. And I assume it's about as amusing as a fan for a small market team that will never amount to anything more than a low playoff seed + praying you get a Durant-like player in a draft. -

QUOTE (Felix @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 02:37 PM) If someone is going to put that much effort into a post, they deserve to be called stupid. It was a stupid post that was taking aim at something they clearly didn't read/weren't interested in reading. It was stupid. edit: How many more times can I say stupid in the same post to get my point across? stupid stupid stupid Man how I wish I could have back the hours I spent crafting those 2 sentences. I read it. It's exactly what I thought it would be. An article trying to show that we should all cut LBJ some slack and that iso is stupid. But I don't really care what the stats say, game on the line I want my superstar taking the shot, not Udonis Haslem. You can't measure the emotion with statistics, Haslem can hit that shot all day long in the 1st quarter, no idea how he reacts with 2 seconds left. Oh and you were 100% posting that in response to other posts & Rose, so bulls*** that you're just innocently passing along interesting articles. Quit being so butt-hurt over everything. -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 09:07 AM) Chuck Garfien @ChuckGarfien Lebron James had 31pts/11rebs last night in 3pt win, but in his last 5:25 on the court he had 0 points and 0 assists. Bu bu but look at the stats!!!!! Teams lose 100% of games when their superstar takes the last shot. It's science you guys Leave Lebron aloneeeeeeee -

Its ALWAYS about the money, especially when that money is 28 million dollars to a guy with 15 neck surgeries in 2 years.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 1, 2012 -> 05:03 PM) Luol Deng is going to be chasing LeBron around for 40 minutes. Hamilton same with Wade (although he won't play as many minutes). QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 1, 2012 -> 04:23 PM) Boozer has a long and decorated history of folding against the elite come playoff time. Ask any Jazz fan what happened to Boozer when it was time to go up against the Laker front-court. He's not the 1/2 option on this team. With a healthy squad, he's more like the 4th option -

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 16, 2012 -> 08:01 AM) The worst is the constant comparisons to Tebow. I haven't got swept up in the "Linsanity" but I do like the kid but I'm tired of the overdone coverage at this point as well. I don't care about the coverage, it just annoys me that people try to deny WHY there is so much coverage for those 2. -
QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 10, 2012 -> 04:39 PM) The team better play better this year or Kenny will be gone at the end of this season. People who think this is a rebuild are wrong. Too many veterans to be called a rebuild. Proving for the 7,473,362.32 time that you don't understand how the business of baseball works.

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Feb 8, 2012 -> 10:00 AM) These comparisons to the draft are ridiculous. Strasburg & Harper weren't free agents, so comparing them to free agents makes zero sense. Strasberg easily would have gotten Darvish money if he were available to the highest bidder, but instead being subject to the draft limited him to $15 million. That in no way, shape, or form reflects his real value. So please stop comparing what guys on the open market cost relative to guys in a restricted market. It's a perfectly valid comparison in an argument for how stupid these teams are. There is no difference in "bust odds" from a #1 draft pick and some random cuban. One just has a stupidity-cap on the $ offered. -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 7, 2012 -> 12:01 PM) Yeah, the 1st is just way too important. I think a return of the two 2nd rounders they gave up for Marshall and a Johnny Knox, if healthy, would be fair. However, the Dolphins probably think they can compete soon, and they need to, so I'm sure it's not a match. Just get Jay a legitimate threat, PLEASE. uhhh we signed BENNETT. That's all you need baby

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 1, 2012 -> 05:13 PM) I'm not giving the Bulls credit for that. Half the league was gearing up for the free agent class of 2010. This organization dropped the ball multiple times in regards to KG, Gasol and to a lesser degree Kobe. They severely overrated guys like Hinrich, Gordon and even Deng. The '07 Bulls with Gasol in place of Gordon or Deng get to the finals. I believe the Bulls would not want to part with the package necessary to get Howard, even if it was possible. And you know this how? How do you know the package for Gasol or KG wasn't Deng + Gordon + others? Then we would have just swapped places with Memphis or Minnesota with a star player and s*** else. It's the reason why Kobe didn't want to come here. -

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 31, 2012 -> 05:09 PM) And that's dumb. We saw what Kobe did. He called out the entire organization and they got him Gasol, Ariza, Artest (or World Peace. God that's so gay), etc. And two championships later, I'm sure Kobe doesn't regret it one bit. DR isn't on the same level Kobe was at the time. He can't do that
