QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 08:11 PM) I'm gonna attribute that 50% to s*** playcalling and 50% Cutler trying to force the throw. except that the 50% of Cutler forcing it is because of the s***ty play calling. He wouldn't have to force s*** if we ran any other plays in the redzone -

Olsen all day long for this drive....and we run it up the middle. That f***ing pick is on Turner, Cutler shouldn't HAVE to force s*** because we refuse to change anything in the red zone. God i hate every coach on this team -

QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 1, 2009 -> 01:53 PM) Forte's yards after initial contact has got to be in single digits this year. Break a f***ing tackle! When your "initial contact" is 4-400lb linemen, not much you can do. -

QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Nov 1, 2009 -> 01:18 PM) Nice to see the rotten Cleveland Browns putting pressure on Cutler because our line sucks so bad. The best part is that it will be blamed on Cutler -

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Oct 25, 2009 -> 04:11 PM) ...crap Can we at least stop the Drunken Boat driver?! Looks like they just need to start bombing to Knox. Nothing else is working so you might as well go high-risk/high-reward. can't if you only have 1.3 seconds to throw the ball. We have such a s*** o-line its incredible -

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 02:43 PM) Do you guys not watch the saints? Do you realize the ravens have an offensively bad passing D that made the chiefs look like a good offense? Now, then, the saints are destroying a giants team that is considered one of the best in the league. Their offense, which was your guys' argument about why they're not as good as the vikings, because they don't score 50 pts a game while giving up a comparable amt of points to the vikings, is now easily going up and down against the Giants D? You've yet to give a good argument against the saints being worse, and now they are beating one of the best teams in the league and are still worse. And Eli plays better on the road.... Saints are the best team -
Article on football, compares it to dogfighting

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 13, 2009 -> 04:09 PM) I don't need to read the article to know it's stupid. Humans get paid and know the risks. Dogs get trained and beaten to be vicious and kill each other. Any comparison is stupid. /thread read the article before you make an ignorant statement assuming what it is talking about /thread -

QUOTE (DGSOXFan14 @ Oct 13, 2009 -> 06:09 AM) I am one of Bobby's biggest supporters but if you believe he is in good shape now then you are mistaken: Nobody compared him to his LAA days. 05 08 09 -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 12, 2009 -> 10:42 PM) They sure have. The only difference is that Mark took it to heart, where Bobby took it personally. Not really, MB was pissed off about it too but he is so easy going it came of as jokingly/sarcasm. -

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Oct 12, 2009 -> 09:41 PM) Makes you wonder if Bobby Jenks can accept constructive criticism. It is coming from the manager and pitching coach and he ia arguing about it? Makes me wonder. Well I can see his point, he is in better shape now (relatively) than he was in 05-06, just an easy scapegoat for why he had an off year. They also question Buehrle's conditioning didn't they? -
I want everyone to remember how Detroit left about 48 men in scoring position tonight and lost by 1 run....for the next time someone wants to post "OMG the sox are the ONLY team that doesn't score big runs" for the 1000th time.

QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 4, 2009 -> 06:38 PM) The only problem is, that Wolfe has never shown the ability on the NFL level to be able to get around the corner while going east to west. He did today, and I don't think he's ever gotten the chance to do it. 100% of the plays to Wolfe to should be toss/pitches or screen passes. -

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 4, 2009 -> 06:04 PM) Didn't need any sexy numbers cause the field position the Bears had all game was just ridiculous. Its nice to actually capitalize on that for a change instead of going 3-out or just getting a FG every time And please, for the love of god, run Wolfe to the OUTSIDE. Running a 5 foot tall RB up the middle into a forest of 400lb dudes is god damn retarded. -

QUOTE (Marty34 @ Oct 3, 2009 -> 04:31 PM) If Jenks and Fernando Rodney switched teams the Sox win the division even as bad as they played this year. No, no they don't. If any member of our team hit in the second half, and any member of our bulpen outside of Thorton pitched well in the 2nd half we win the division. Blaming it on Jenks is pure stupidity.
