Does anyone think Guillen did a poor job managing?
jenksycat replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
ozzie is a bad manager only when he loses. Thats a simple fact on these boards and in the media. -
I recommend my buddies bar, Shinnicks Pub. Good stuff, $2.50 beer.
-
Yeah, you can get it for about $30 on ebay/amazon now, well well worth it. Those PK + Pods homers still give me chills.

Imagine this team with a healthy Q, Crede, and Jose.......man. Oh well, the outlook for this team looks even better for next year. Shore up the bulpen, pick up a couple guys, and we're right back in it.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 2, 2008 -> 03:10 PM) I dont even understand how some of you consider yourselves Sox fans. Javy is the Sox 4th starter, due to having to play the last few weeks we could not set the rotation. Javy is not supposed to shut down the other team, he is supposed to keep the Sox in the game so that we have a chance to win. Anyone expecting more is just setting themselves up for failure. If this was any other pitcher people would be talking about how easy grounders were getting through our infield, how we let pop ups drop, how the Sox couldnt get a double play. but since its Javy you all just want to kick him around. f*** that, Im not going to sit here and say hes good, but I at least respect the effort that he has given to the Sox. You realize how much he is being paid, correct? A 30+ million dollar pitcher should not be a crappy 4th starter, sorry. He is terrible, i hope to never see him pitch with a sox uniform on ever again.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Oct 2, 2008 -> 02:30 PM) Why are people asking for Clayton? Bring in Floyd. What the hell is wrong with you people? Because we will need him to start since Javi will never start again for the sox

OH MY GOD

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 07:32 PM) I disagree almost completely. Only part I agree on is Griffey didn't put his whole body into the throw. what is there to disagree about? He threw that ball flat footed and had roughly 0 momentum behind him.

QUOTE (YASNY @ Sep 30, 2008 -> 09:03 AM) And our team didn't? Our team lost its best (and most of the time only) hitter for September. I'd like to see where the Twins would be if Morono had gone down. -
I don't think its as lopsided as people are claiming. A-ram has a higher average, more SB, 1/2 the K's, more hits, slightly less RBI and HR, 4 GS's. 'ei started off ice cold and longo missed a month. Sure he may get it just cause the MLB has been hyping up Longo and nobody knows who Alexei is, but it should be extremely close.

please someone find a way to post it, pleeeeeeeaassseee

I could have had 2 right behind homeplate in the UD but declined since my dad didn't want to go. Why did i not just buy them....stupid.
